DJ Food has been many persons but is best described as Food for DJs, simple as that. Just flip it around and it begins to mean something entirely different. Originally created by Matt Black & Jonathan More (aka Coldcut) through their seminal ‘Jazz Brakes’ release, the DJ Food project has undergone numerous changes. The most notable since the Coldcut original has been the inclusion of Strictly Kev and former partner PC. With PC’s departure to focus on his Cinematic Orchestra project, Ninja Tune’s in house designer and Solid Steel radio show DJ, DK stepped in to fill his shoes. Having already release a critically acclaimed instalment in the Solid Steel mix CD catalogue, ‘Now Listen,’ Kev and DK are at it again with the latest release from Ninja Tune, ‘Now Listen Again.’ Hailed as one of the top compilation albums released this year, Kev and DK have created a truly original and memorable mix.
