this thread constitutes a "first time living full time in BKK" newbie question...
I always stay at the Landmark when I visit BKK and almost always take TG's back to my room - except when BK & I took the twins to the PB hotel.
now that I will be living in BKK, I wonder if taking TG's home with you is a good idea - even though the bldg. where I will live has a security desk.
how do you full time expatriates handle this issue?

I never bring back tg to my main residence. I used to use hotel, now I have a second condo to bring back TG or just go to their rooms.

I've never had problems with girls in my apartment so far. The security always asks for their ID cards before they get up to my room. Just make sure you keep your cash and important documents locked up in safe place.

Given BK's experience as noted....
I would NEVER bring a TG to my apt unless I was going to make her a steady one and only gf. My feeling is that if a tg you dont know well knows where you live she can make too much trouble.
On the other hand a long time regular will always present the risk that if you dump her at some point she will take it badly. But there is no way around this one so you need to be lucky here.
But good security at your place is a real plus for sure.

I shouldn't contribute to this thread as I am not a BKK resident, but I can't help adding that I don't see what the issue is?
Bringing a TG back to my place is no different than bringing her to my hotel room, with the one exception that if by some chance she turns out to be a psycho bitch wanting to pound on my door at 4 a.m. she has a better chance of doing so at the former, security aside. Since those type of TGs are, thankfully, rare and few and far between, I don't see the problem.
Like BK says, don't leave valuable stuff lying around, as a general matter. I never do, here, BKK, or anywhere. Don't be a fool and offer up to sticky hands.
And if you have a bad feeling, or even a doubt, either drop her, or take her to a short time hotel if you must shag her notwithstanding that nagging doubt.

As a 15 year old resident I've brought in dozens of girls. Never a single problem (don't have many valuable things which can be easily taken) until August last year.
I had two girls over (both came separately and didn't know each other). One took my Nokia N73 (because I was so stupid to secure it). Still don't know who did it.

After living in Bkk for over 10 years, and having brought hundreds of women home (p4p, freebies, one night stands, kiks, g/fs all combine d) never regretted it even once.
never got stiched, never got knicked.. and no ugly scenes.
But as mentioned earlier, make sure there is no bad blood between you and her when she leaves, and you wont have any problems ever.
I have even brought girls from a thai karaoke right across my street, who at best just smile and let it pass when they ever spot me during early evenings.
Dont worry, Thai women respect a man's privacy, still there is always that woman who you need to avoid, you just need to choose them well.
