Avoid shaving in intimate parts 24 hrs prior to action. You may nick yourself and not even be aware of it. This may end up in fluid exchange.
You may be tempted, but don't brush immediately prior to the action. Brushing can end up in micro cuts in the softer part of your mouth. Don't encourage her to do it either.
I found that when I eat some toasted bread, it tends to scrape my pallete. I'd avoid that too.
