Quite a fascinating segue this thread has taken, gents. Pardon me for steering it back to original topic, but I stopped into the original Sukh. Pharmacy last night. And here's the latest: He is no longer selling Xanax. They confirmed they were not allowed any longer. When I tried to ask if he knew how much Xanax the katoey had slipped the cop, the pharmacist had no idea what I was on about. Zilch. And get ready for a new controversy boys: The little yellow pills they gave me in place of their being out of Xanax are Tryptanol read up on that and it appears the drug can offer no benefits toward a good nights sleep. Which might be why I wake up feeling they're so benign. I swear I feel that they assist me in falling asleep- but this is more than likely a placebo effect. What is so ironic though is every time I ask for these things I say I want them to help me sleep. So, there you have it! Swap your cravings for Xanax to Tryptanol which is a trade name for the drug: Amitriptyline, while And you may wanna dose a favorite neurotic pet but watch out for those side effects fellas. Then again, anyone prone to nasty bouts of the post-partum LoS depression blues may wanna pick-up a supply on their way to Don Muang.... Finally, they sell for 4Bt per 25mg tabs.

Well, I guess if you say so, it must be so... I guess we both know what;s going on.

I guess if you self-compare, I can see you arriving at that conclusion. Skip, Interesting that the pharmacist woud give you Tryptanol, though I guess they well-meaningly referenced the insomnia indication - maybe if you had waited a month, you would have found a good night's sleep. Your guess that you attributed your sleep to a placebo effect is probably right - I'm just lucky that I don't have trouble sleeping - reading about the tribulations people go through with Ambien or Melatonin makes me sleepy just thinking about it.

And how! Lucky you, Daffy. When I was a kid I could fall asleep anywhere, and I mean anywhere. But not anymore....

That must suck - must be because I never grew up Seriously, on planes, essentially the moment the Fasten Seat Belt light goes off, and we reach altitude, I have a hard time staying awake, and usually barely make it past 10 minutes before I slumber, only barely awakening when food is being served (yummy, yeah, I like airline food too), and needing to be shaken awake by the stewardess when the plane descends. I blame my parents for my conditioning. When I was a wee child, and we were flying (which we were doing a lot), they would construct a 'tent' out of adjacent seats, then they'd get me some warm milk, dump me in the dark 'tent', and off I went to sleep... worked like a charm. I was the kid that was always quiet during flights I guess I must have been conditioned to associate airplane flight with sleep, as this works nowadays without the milk - though I tried it once with warm milk, and I was gone in minutes. On the other hand, warm milk has a generally amazing sleep-inducing ability. Curious why people don't use more natural, and very effective methods - I would figure that if you combine warm milk with a healthy serving of heated turkey leg or turkey breast, you ought to be knocked out for hours.

And here some more information on the topic. But beware, it might be self derision, something your parents should have taught you during your intense cocooning. Perhaps that way you wouldn't have come up as such a tightassed self righteous preacher...But hey, you couldn't get both the sleep and the fun it seems... http://www.wimp.com/effects/
