Started to develop allergic reaction to Trojans a year ago...after usage, penis would become very itchy and stayed itchy for a week and then some skin on penis would get dry and flake off. Switched to Durex and everything was fine until now...symptoms started up again.
Anyone with similar problem and got a solution? Switched to non-latex in the U.S. and worked well but cannot find any in Thailand. This itchy dick is really putting a damper on partying in BKK.
Any help is appreciated. And please no smart remarks from the peanut gallery...I know you guys will have a field day with this one.

if they are flavored etc. then that could cause these problems.
I always choose the ones with nonoxyl 9 (spermicidal) lubricant if I can find them, and have not had a problem...

The Yokul (Cleetus?) brings up a good point - nonoxynol 9.
I've heard that some people have an allergy to this, and not latex - since you said that switching to Durex worked for you for a while, might it be the case that you switched to non-nonoxynol 9 Durex condoms for a while, and then started buying those with nonoxynol 9 by mistake?
I would find it surprising if a latex allergy didn't surface immediately with the Durex condoms. But, I'm not a doctor.
Do the non-latex condoms you've been buying come with nonoxynol 9?

Will experiment with the non-spermicidal Durex. Buy mine from 7-11 except they are all in Thai. Where can I get condoms with English packaging so I can make sure there's no spermicide. What about the flavor ones? Do they contain spermicide?

even the ones manufactured in Malay still have Thai packaging, including the instructions inside (in Thai).
Just ask the cutest gal in the store to pick some for you, or learn to read Thai...
the flavored ones I've seen did not contain spermicide in the lube, but I usually try and avoid those unless I've got a non-BBBJ (covered-BJ) gal on my hands.

thanks for this post. I thought something was up as I have had an itchy member in the past and thought it may be from the condom.
So what brands have this oxymoron 9 crap and which don't?
Also, has anyone experienced the "soap in the eye" situation? Some of the girls at the soapies insist on pouring soap in johnson's eye. I imagine they think this is cleaning it out but instead in stings like hell and takes a bit of the pleasure out of the rest of the massage. When I have tried to stop them, they look like "aha, he has a disease!"

Got me some strawberry flavored Durex today. Hopefully, it'll take the sting away from sex. Now all I have to do is find "willing" participants...hahaha.
Will post the results after I give it a test drive....don't hold your breath though...might be a while so you fellas feel free to try it and let me know the results.

Did not get to try the Durex strawberry condoms yet but had two rounds with a Penthouse pet with Durex featherlite (think that's what it's called...it was a bit dark in the room) and had no allergic reaction this morning. Cool beans...no more itchy peckerhead! Penthouse pets in Thailand are overrated...not much different except for the high price. Fake tits are hard as a rock...nice hard ass though and was really gungho with the bj. Overall, not worth the money.
