I too get the heat rash thing going when I am in BKK. Never seem to dry out. This time I think it was exacerbated by the detergent the hotel laundry uses, and then that strong soap at Baron's. In any event, a lesson learned and I will take along my own fresh bar of soap next time and be well prepared for another good session with Saeng.

You probably have the rash already and it is just exacerbated by the soap. I get it regularly esp if I spend a bit of time swimming. Try a cream called (I think ) Chlorosten which is for Thrush.Clears it up in a day or two.
