OK, guess I've found a gem!
Besides being in the deep sh_t for some biz problems, I still got the time and energies - or was it necessity? - to hunt a new place I saw few days ago just before Suk soi 26.
The place is called "Angel" and it's pretty much 'a la Barons.....BUT, bigger rooms, nicer showers, 24 girls so far as I've been told....
Angel just opened about one week before....or less...
After a nice welcome - my japanese look helped in this case - I got the menu: as usual Thai, Oil etc etc...
Asked for Oil 1h, 400 baht and then I've been invited by the manager (lady) to choose a girl....in this place girls are not seated in the main lobby but they have created a partition just on the left side of the front desk....forget to mention it's a typical townhouse....
Girl's name was Daow, not top notch, but surely nice...
I skip the details of the session...it was good, that's all...normal market rates....
Tomorrow I'll get back to check the quality of all the girls: if they are similar to Daow, then Barons is in trouble!
Hopefully, I'm gonna take one of our brothers famous for its experience in judging such places...let's see what's gonna be his review....
Angel Massage (11.00/24.00), Suk soi 24/1 at the end of the joint before soi 24/1 and soi 26, left handed...big yellow sign.

I would say there is room in the Suk market for another Baron-type venue, and if it drains some customers away from Baron that may mean an improved experience because Baron is often too busy and too much like an assembly line. Caronte, if you can check "all the girls" tomorrow you are a better man than I am... 24 of them?That would have to be about 2 per hour I guess??

Quick update...
Been there to check the place today with a senior brother...
1. Receptionists/managers (?) : good attitude, very friendly, also worthy a hit!
2. Girls: not much selection at 12.15...been told best time is 14.00 onwards...
3. My pick: Tak or something like that...petite thing from Isaan, she laughed all the way from the shower to the shower.....the funniest f_ck of my life I guess
4. Gained the Vip status: 2 hits in a row brining a new friend!
5. Good to go FS at 1,000baht!
Place has the potential to become the REAL THING, they just need to tune the quality of the girls and the services....locationwise is ok, not so exposed like Barons, rooms are much better than Barons', ALL with private showers.
Let's see how it will go on....

This is the building where Roots Reggae was located before it closed... at the 90-degree bend in Suk 24/1. The receptionist (Nong) is also the owner... formerly of Relax Massage on 24 where she learned the business. Because of her background she is targeting the Japanese market and the configuration of the ground floor reflects that... there is a sitting area where customers can review a photo album of the service providers (a la Euro) to make their selection. The staff waiting room is partioned off from the "lobby" but if you prefer to make a live choice then you proceed to this side room to view in person.
Like Baron there are TTM providers (200/1 or 300/2) and OM specialists (400/1 or 800/2) and I recognized several of them as recruits from other venues like 33 Center. This means that FS is not only on the menu but is an expected part of the service profile. 
The rooms are simple but clean... unlike Caronte I would judge that both room and shower are a bit smaller than Baron while the bed size is the same. The rooms are adequate but the aircon draft can be a problem due to their size and the fact that the aircon is aligned with the bed.
The place reminds me of Baron when it first opened... same "feel". It will be a while before Angel can rival the legendary Baron but it has the potential to do so and is a welcome addition to the Sukumvit P4P market.

Gave Baron a call this afternoon and they had no rooms until 4pm!! (obviously all the BTF bros were there!) So decided to check out the "Angel".
Warning - the sub soi where it is located has a blind curve that I almost got nailed twice by the motorcycle taxis whipping around there!
Went inside and as described here earlier, it is nice and clean. Asked the girl at reception for a oily and she said, "nam" and I said ok thinkng she was offering me water. I then asked to see the 'book' of attendants and she said "oh, you choose?" I said it's ok.
This bit of confusion led me to get the lady named "Nam" and she was a bit 'long in the tooth' as the saying goes.
Went up to the rooms and they are nice and clean... an improvement over Barons.
But unfortunately old 'Nam' was not what I was looking for as she undressed with me to take the in-room shower (good shower and pleanty of hot water). I am guessing 40 with at least two kids on the odometer.
She gave an average massage and then asked if I wanted boom boom. I was thinking I really don't want to but would settle for a hand job. I said I thought a hand job would be fine. But she said "I want Boom Boom, only BT 1500". That really was a thrill kill as I really did not want to spend that much for this older woman.
I said hand job ok. Well she rubbed it and then sucked it but it was neither that great a technique nor did I dare open my eyes for fear of the visuals. I then hear the condom wrapper open and 'snap' on goes the rain coat with junior not really at full attention. I am then thinking, hmm, not even a bbbj! Well she keeps working it and then changes positions to 'ride the pony'!
I tell her its ok, hand job. "No, boom boom better" So off she goes to mount me and I really had to keep my eyes closed. It took forever and she either acted or really did cum twice and finally I was able to fantasize about 16 other women to get off.
Now I am not trying to suggest that this one episode is indicative of other gents success/failure but the rooms were an improvement over Baron and the showers were good. Also, no rancid sewer smell that some of Barons showers have.
But for all the time I have been frequenting Barons, I never had a lady like today. I think they are all max 35 but mostly younger at Baron and I am not sure if they would take on someone like Nam.
For my first experience, Angel wasn't satisfactory and Baron will remain top dog. But I think Angel will continue to improve especially if Barons cannot accomodate the traffic on weekends.
I will try it again to see if it was only an off day but I also think Orchid is currently better than Angel and closing fast on Baron.
Watch the motorcycles and if offered 'water', decline and have a beer!
