Reading the What a Dumbass I Was FR it struck me that there should be a perm list on the forum somewhere covering the "upstairs PP sex show" establishments, so that clip joints are visible to anyone using the forum. (BK?)
From memory, the list would be:
Supergirls
Showgirls
Penthouse
Wildcat (formerly Firecat)
Queen's Castle
Super Pussy
Casanova
Cleopatra
Side Line
Of these, my experience has been generally positive at Queen's Castle and Cleopatra. The worst (and notoriously so) is Casanova.... but inexplicably they still get customers. All of these places will press you pretty hard, and you need to keep your head. However a few are reasonably user-friendly while others should be avoided, especially by newbies.
Many PP visitors want to see a live pingpong/sex/etc show at least once... perhaps the knowledgeable brothers active here can add current first-hand info to the list.

Good idea. Has Rose changed? For me, it's always been a bj bar - maybe not as sleezy as SOL (SOL being hard to beat), but still, it has it's attractions. Last time I was there, couple months ago, it was 700 baht. Don't recall ever seeing any shows there - just some girls sitting around, waiting for customers.

Good idea for a thread,
however, since bar names change frequently there, the thing that would help would be a map layout of PP1 & PP2 indicating which bars are safe and which ones are not (rippoff).

Cleopatra on PP2. The shows are not as wild as before the crackdown, but it is still "dodgy" and their customer service standards are higher than the other 2nd floor joints.... note my original post. Let us have a FR when you've checked out the action.

Best advice I got, 10 years ago, when I was making my first trip to BKK: if you want to go upstairs in Patpong, and don't know anyone to guide you, then barfine a girl from Nana and have her take you; she'll keep you from being ripped off. I did, and she did.
