The Eden Club thread is multi-functional. Instead of 10 Eden threads all over the forum, BK has channeled all Eden stuff into one place. That means the one thread has a eclectic collection of field reports, questions from newbies and tips from old Eden hands (or dicks or heads or dickheads, you decide which is most appropriate) as well as the latest news from edenpapa and quips from the gallery.
What can be entertaining for a frequent Eden visitor or BKK resident may not be of much use or interest to someone who's never been to LOS, much less Eden. But we all have to crowd into one thread, so we might as well try to get along.
It is worth repeating, and here I'm going to shout,
READ THE FIRST PAGE IN THIS THREAD BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS.
The first page gives all the basic info you need, as well as some analysis. It's also up-to-date, but of course it doesn't go into specifics like which girl is currently working, etc.
I fully acknowledge it is unrealistic to expect anyone to sift through 70 pages to find an answer to a question. However, the first page does answer most questions a newbie is likely to have. What comes after is occasionally informative, sometimes humorous or interesting, but rarely crucial. There's absolutely nothing wrong in posting a "one-liner" or jokey comment, it's part of the fun. Not every post has to be a golden nugget of new information.
Bottom line - Newbies need to read page one, but can skip the rest. Old hands follow the thread out of interest, to have fun and to keep themselves informed of the latest happening. It is a bit clumsy to have so many different kinds of posts all in one place, but what's the alternative?

I think the point that was being made by JW was that, besides the informative postings made here which everyone appreciates, a lot of the postings on this thread are just mundane enquiries addressed to Marc which could easily be PMed to him, which would save us the trouble of reading such material.
Quite simple really.
I honestly don't undestand the entry I have quoted.
Personally I enjoy the Star of Light thread. And I enjoy the bar itself. It is simply outrageously the best.
Similarly, I enjoy the meaningful Eden postings and I certainly enjoy the establishment itself and all who dwell in her.
But this entry by Dr.L. has me baffled.
Have I come across a personal vendetta ?
Has a battle been raging between two brothers that I have not been aware of ?
If it has, it must have been conducted through PMs and only now resurfaced for the delight of those who like to hen-pick.
Is this 'bull contributor' some sort of sexual athlete that Dr. L has discovered and secretly admires through his sublimated inclinations ?

And here we were thinking, that there was at least a modicum of maturity shared between all members

See you.” So that members like EP have to post a periodic reminder that all the necessary info is on page one.

And I agree with the point that Dr.Love made. WE should all examine our contributions and entries before slipping them in. for everyone's enjoyment (?).
