I have had mixed feedback regarding the risks of having a BBBJ.

What are the risks?

Is it a chance worth taking?

Just for the record I have looked at other posts
regarding this issue and not found anything directly on it, so some good serious feeback would be helpful.

As i'm aware there is a risk but fairly small.

All input please

Though remote, the biggest risk i've found is the sweet young tart upchucking on my pants when I shoot it down her thoat.

and if you have a strange tingy feeling for hours afterwards,

she had just eaten SomTom before going down on you...

They normally confess to their just having had Papaya Salad and decline, but I insist that they continue once they tell me that.

“The risk of becoming infected through unprotected oral sex is lower than that of unprotected anal and vaginal sex. However, even a lower risk activity can become an important way people get infected if it is done often enough.

Several co-factors can increase the risk of HIV transmission through oral sex, including: oral ulcers, bleeding gums, genital sores, and the presence of other STDs.

There is a theoretical risk of transmission for both partners because infected fluids such as semen, vaginal secretions or blood can get into the mouth. There is also a theoretical risk of infection because infected blood from a partner’s bleeding gums or an open sore could come in contact with a scratch, cut, or sore on the genitals.

HIV has been transmitted through oral sex, even in cases when partners didn’t ejaculate.

Syphilis can be transmitted easily through oral sex if sores or mucous patches are present.

Gonorrhea can be transmitted moderately easy through oral sex. Transmission usually to and from the throat during penile-oral contact. Vaginal-oral transmission is less likely.

Herpes can be easily transmitted between the genitals and the mouth when sores are present, and can even be transmitted if no sores are present.

Other STDs which scientists have documented have also been transmitted through oral sex include genital warts (Human Papilloma Virus), intestinal parasites (amebiasis), and hepatitis A.

Because anal and vaginal sex are much riskier and because individuals who engage in unprotected oral sex may engage in unprotected anal and/or vaginal sex, the exact proportion of infections attributable to oral sex is unknown, but it is likely to be very small. This has led some people to believe that oral sex is completely safe.
It is not!!!!!!!!

People who decide they will have oral sex can lower their risk of getting HIV or other STDs by using latex condoms and other barriers. For example, non-lubricated, flavored condoms are available. Other barriers include plastic food wrap or a dental dam, which
may serve as a physical barrier to prevent transmission of HIV and many other STDs.”

That is what the US Navy has to say. I just liked the bit about the food wrap.

Serious enough for you bootydaddy?

Screwing hookers is always a risky business.

And the important thing is to figure out how much risk you wish to assume.

Oral sex is definitely less risky than the full in-out, but heres what you can do.

Cover your dick with aluminium foil and heat the foil to precisely 36 degrees....ok, kidding.

By and large you must definitely cover up for blowies in full on fvckshops like eden and any place where the girls are known to give clients the ol' tongue up the ass. Even though they use listerine, they can transfer germs from one guys ass to your knob and this will result in some sort of urinary tract infection or prostatitis. Easiest and earliest symptom to read: when you urinate, the stream will be dribbly and you feel can never fully empty your bladder.

If that happens just pop any agent from the quinolone family (Oflox 250 mg. 1 tab X3 times a day.)

happy fvcking!

Banger, I am no expert on this, so I may be wrong. I thought hepatitis A was not sexually transmitted. Can be got through contaminated water etc, hence food, and is not life threatening like Hep B, C... (how many are there now) which are all sexually transmitted by bodily fluids.

QS,

As far as I know Hepatitis A (HAV) is transmitted primarily through oral contact with faeces (oral-faecal contact). This includes contaminated food or water sources and sexual contact, especially oral-anal sex. Hence your chosen young lovely can pick it up from licking your arsehole. This is a widespread gay practice as well and many gay men pick it up this way apparently.

Hepatitis A can easily spread among young children in day care because many are in diapers and cannot wash their own hands, and no one know they have the disease since they usually have no symptoms. These young children are not licking each other's arses but are coming into contact orally with something already contaminated. In a bar I always drink from a foil capped bottle as I do not know who used the glass before me..... And I do not lick any BG's private parts or kiss them for the same reason, nipples I am sanguine about.

HAV has on rare occasions been transmitted by blood. The presence of virus in the blood occurs with the onset of infection and is thought to be short-lived.

Complications from HAV are rare, and few deaths result from it. It is not known to cause chronic infections. However, it can make some people very sick, and it is easily preventable by vaccination or use of hygienic sexual practices.

The symptoms include a Low-grade fever, malaise, loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal discomfort, dark-colored urine and jaundice. So far I have no jaundice but I seem to have all the others (or hypochondria).

So what can I conclude? Don't mix sex and sh_t!!!!!

Thumper,

Good point.

JHJ,

Good tip on the meds. Ofloxacin is a relatively mild anti bacterial agent. However it does have side effects and those who are diabetic or have a liver problem should definitely consult a doctor.

I would not recommend self prescribing. However I am a hopeless hypocrite and regularly do just that. In Thailand you can get most meds over the counter so I help myself. I once tried to get some antibiotics in Aus and was locked up in hospital for four days whilst fed them intravenously. The bill was astronomical, especially as I told THEM the course of medication required.

Chronic infections in Thailand are common especially if you venture out into the jungle or rice paddy. You could die before reaching a hospital so I always carry some basic antibiotics and other bits and bobs. (On the other hand you may find some poor sod in a remote village sufferring terribly from a simple infection such as a jungle sore).

One of the best bits I ever found on a Thai website recommended:

"Get yourself a clearly marked first aid kit about 5 by 8 inches, empty it out and equip it with the following: Antibiotic ointment, Antibiotic ear and eye drops, 6 tablets of Fansidar, 15 tablets of Amoxill (general antibiotic) 500 mg., 15 tablets of Tetracycline 250 mg, 15 tablets of Lomotil or Imodium; 20 tablets of Flagyl 250 mg (for water borne parasite infestations of the gut) now the most common cause of severe dysentery and not prevented by boiling water or even chorine, some band aids, a small roll of bandage, a roll of elastic bandage, a pair of small tweezers, and a small bottle of anti-insect ointment containing Deet. Follow the instructions for using these drugs and when you get back to the city go to a good doctor in a hospital and explain what happened to you and what medications you took. He (or She) will handle it from there."

Good advice which will give you peace of mind even if you haven't got the faintest idea which one is for which type of ailment.

Hmm, if you play in BKK you may wish to add some food wrap, 2 dozen extra large condoms, a tube of KY and a pair of rubber gloves.
