I blame the sex-starved idiots who pay way over the odds for the young ladies.
At the same time, the bars are greedy and always have been for any money that they can squeeze out of the transactions. The girls are in the consumer grip of up-grading their i-phones, their T.Vs., their lap-tops and their entire wardrobe, plus making sure all the neigbours back in the village know the amount of income they are able to generate.
Too often in the male visitor, the testosterone over-rides common-sense. The sane man in the day wont mumble a murmur of protest in the night to the girl nor to the bar. They both win hands down and give the wai and the bow and the generous smile to get you out of the way, so that they can greet the next fool from abroad who will over-pay and keep the spiralling cost of a shag climbing higher and higher.
It's just reached that stupid level where serious mongers weigh up their options and decide to go elsewhere for their coopulating short-holiday breaks.
What a shame for those of us who live here.

I was last in shark around 2006 was in there the wholenight. Tempted but naw even though back then prices were still reasonable. What I remember is they were all hammered on shots and one who wanted I bf got quite agressive at the end. Not much fun drunk women especially when I pay.
Even back then I avoided Agogo in favour of FL or massage,today I would not even consider bf in an Agogo thats for the tourists.
Last weekend I had a st here where I live in europe price 2k plus 2 beers.
Thats without the flight,hotel and the rest of the crap.
Pattaya still worth it if your into bulk though beach road and bars.
