There is a definate crackdown at the moment. Just have to ride it out.

At Tunnel Saturday night, good crowd, good music.
Closed at 0300. The music stopped, the house lights came on, and that was that.

On a good night the Tunnel of Love has got to be the #1 club in Bangkok. It was rockin' on Saturday and last night closed at 3:00am too but not so crowded. On both nights there were loads of single girls, some in the extremely hot category, and the atmosphere was great. Many of the girls here are very approachable and some are surprisingly easy to pick up for a freebie.

Looks like the slow rot as predicted by many has kicked in. Real shame was my favourite club, great music, good booze & 3 mins walk from where I live!

The Tunnel was shut down because its soley an after hours place. They were told by the MIB, they can stay open till 130am. The Partners decided own their own to shut it down rather then close it at 130am. this 130am closure time is of course the prevelent closing times of most night establishments in the Lumpini Police district. The strict closure is due to the on going battle supposedly with the head of 919 and the Lumpini Police station. The word is that this fued has been settled and we might start to see 2am closing times again, and with the great after hours club the "Tunnel" having its 330am closing time reinstated. Lets all hope!!

This thread needs an update. Tunnel was great last night. More girls than you could shake a stick at. I left at 3:00am with one in tow. Dunno when the music stopped.
