I heard they moved the operation to Cambo, but even still you'd be seeing him in new films if that were the case

That site hasn't see n any updates on content in 3+ years, so they may have just gone away. Maybe DG had something to do with it?

Don't Think I was neked when I left the Bar....but I was when I woke up.....
Had no idea where I was...or "Who" it was that I found in my bed...lol... Until I made a closer inspection....
Those Toxic "Nurses" most certainly take good care of us wayward lads that "Fall Ill"....

So many bars, so little time. Bangkok is full of little surprises if you take the time to venture off the well-trodden tourist and expat tracks. To my shame, I had never even been down Sukhumvit Soi 18 until recently when I decided to check out Toxic, a bar that had been recommended by a couple of friends, although I had earlier been put off by negative comments.
I had an hour or so to kill before meeting some friends in nearby Soi Cowboy, so I walked the length of a very pleasant soi with numerous massage shops and interesting-looking restaurants. Right at the end is the Town Lodge Hotel and inside there, on the left side of the lobby, is Toxic. First impressions were good. The bar has been designed with a lot of thought and has a classy feel, the lighting is intimate, the music is not intrusive and, mercifully, there is only one pool table, meaning you can relax without getting impaled by a cue.
Toxic has about half a dozen girls but they were pleasant without being pushy. Two came over to speak to me and were happy to just talk without displaying any signs of Cola addiction. This was a very pleasant haven. I sat at the bar and spoke to the manageress, who said the bar had a loyal band of regulars supplemented by people staying at the hotel. Time flew and after two beers I asked for my bill. There wasn’t one. Every Friday from 9-10pm, the bar has a very happy hour when drinks other than lady drinks are free. Purely by chance, my stay had coincided with happy hour.
The manageress explained that regulars did not abuse the free hour; they drank at their normal rate and generally bought a lady drink or two. I apologised for inadvertently being a Cheap Charlie and promised to put the record straight on my next visit. I am a man of my word. But on that visit at least I can say nothing but good about the bar.
