I am just amazed. I did a search on the net and it appears that there are places to go Salsa dancing in Bangkok. Can anyone recommend one of the following or suggest somewhere better?
- El Niņo
- The Salsa Club
- Casa Salsa
- Bar Latino Bangkok
- La Fiesta
- Baila Baila
- Seņor Pico's

Hmmmm keen for Latino stuff brother ChiliMan? Well, El Ninho was the best place for having latino dancing and some sort of good Latino food (mainly Mexican). At least was the best in town but a bit pricey though. Unfortunately, El Ninho closed down. Before they closed they changed names and this place was called LA NINHA instead. So far I couldn't figure out why did they close....
Anyhow, another place to enjoy latino music/food is Senhor Pico Rest. at the Rembrandt Hotel.....long time I haven't been there but I recall the food (Mexican again) and a Cuban lady which was performing some Cuban music. She was a bit plump but good for a night session, je! ejem....She was there for looong time but suddenly they dissapeared. Another group came in but was not as good as the Cuban one....Well, that was at Rembrandt.
Another one is called Cuba Salsa. They open a sort of Pub in Soi 22 and didn't last long. They closed down again....don't know where they are now....
Baila Baila is owned by a Mexican senior woman. Very pricey but good music performed by a Latino band, hmm maybe Colombian. However, long time I haven't been there.
Well, I suggest you to check out Senhor Pico. Go there and give us your feedback. In the meantime I will see the progress made at Le Meridien President (LA NINHA is on the basement) and post here on any news....

Why not try La Rueda on Soi 18 Sukumvit it may be small but get lively at the weekend and live band.
