Brothers,
The Roundtable affair was quite nice last night as we finished off a fine evening of camaraderie and sightseeing in CM2.
Some of us talked (especially me) about getting together at Q-bar to check out the upscale scene there. Apparently it's a bit more of a challenge to differentiate the freelancers from the crowd in Q-bar as opposed to CM2. Anyone game for a challenge?
Q-bar ought to present a more impressive challenge for our members, well maybe not the young, rich, handsome sorts such as youngexpat and kmanrox, but as a brother high up on the crest of the hill, I'm game for a challenging scene.
So, pinga, BK, Kman, Chrisboy, and bretheren one and all lets congregate at Q-bar tonight.
What time works for you all?

I wouldn't recommend going too early. Try 11:00 pm onwards. It will get crowded tonight as it is the weekend, and entry fee will be 400 B (for 2 drinks).

I can be able to meet you guys after 10pm....got a couple of appointments beforehands....I don't mind to go Q-bar. Been there twice, a bit difficult to score but we can have a nice time. If you guys decide to move onto another bar/club/etc just let me know....Ah! Chrisboy, what about EXTASIS Club???? BK, will call you during the evening to figure out your whereabouts....

Great place, but quite a challenge. Happy hunting! And while you are there, check out the blue light behind the DJ, has something to do with Absolut VoBKa. I could never figure it out or see the message (maybe I was drunk or not drunk enough). Please explain and post. Thanks

That blue light sends out a stream of characters that says "Absolut VoBKa" but only through one small slit. You can only read it if you move your head laterally from left to right or vice versa. The persistence of vision will allow you to see the message, very briefly. BK

After playing Mack Daddy at CM2 on account of that 2000 baht bankroll in my back pocket lastnight I think I'm up for a challenge tonight.
Besides what's the worst that could happen? I end up at Grace coffee shop early?
Honestly, this town turns reality as I knew it upside down. Amazing!
