Ok ok ... I guess you may be thinking of another location. Well, too many places can be said to be very romantic. Be a bit more specific on what you really would like to find and what not: full luxury and total pampering or a more rustic environment, isolation, beautiful scenery, beaches, wildlife, etc. then I am sure many here can give you more specific suggestions.
Take into account that often some things that we westerners consider romantic, Thais at times, do not care much for. Check with her also what she really likes (not the usual "up to you" stuff).

Budget, beach or waterfall, fresh air, decent hotel.

Dusit Laguna in Phuket a bit expensive but......
or Phi phi Princess Resort on Ko Phi Phi, less expensive, nice bungalow on the beach with A/C mini bar. Lot of farang couples on Phi Phi almost prostitution free.
