Hopefully someone knows something about this place in Koh Samui. It looks pretty good on the web but would really like to know if anybody out there has any knowledge of this place (I doubt it). Planning on staying there so if by chance you have any info please inform me - thanks

the papillon is the best hotel in lamai! very recommendable especially the newly renovated rooms and bungalows!
i do always stay there as it has a nice neach and easy access to everywhere!

The Papillon Beach Resort(not Pavillon) is located in North Chaweng (according to the web). However, the site stated the owner is in fact French. Considered not staying there for that reason but I thought about it and I don't really care about all that. I try not to judge people based on what country their from. Not trying to sound all noble (cause I'm not really the noble type) but I figure I'll give Frenchie a try. So Papillon means butterfly - perfect...
Anybody else know anything?

Dagul, if you do end up staying at The Papillon, you will be just next door to Mui Bungalow, a simple but nice place run by an equally nice German fellow called Dirk. This guy used to be a chef at The Oriental many years ago, so the food at his place is really good.
