I've never been a crow, but your vector is off by.9 degrees. Allowance for crosswinds and cattle farts? Are these African swallows or European swallows?

V-J, I do not think I am off. Maybe we are looking at different take-off locations.
I am assuming that WhateverWinson is taking from Bangkok's garbage dump at 13:50:00N - 100:29:00E -afterall a crow also has to eat.
The only allowance I am making is for rounding to one decimal point  - I am not taking into account magnetic deviations; you will have to adjust your own instruments for that.
