Just came back from Udon Thani and felt like I had flown into the 1960's. One hour flight and you will land at an airport that has only one plane...yours. Stayed at the Udon Hotel....upgraded room for 500 baht. Once a nice hotel but a little worn now although adequate. Next door is located a rather large masssage parlor with a lot of Thai guys dressed in suits and looking like Chicago pimps. Good news is that the girls range from 1,000 to 1700 baht for everything you want. Some very good lookers. If this doesn't strike your fancy next door at the Ton Kin (?) hotel they have a large selection of girls at 250 baht for a 2 hour massage. Tried to work a deal there but the girl was Lao and could not communicate well enough to pull it off although she would have come to my hotel after work. Walking around later about 5 blocks away there was an alley with a lot of girls.......asking price 200 baht....didn't have the nerve to negotiate that price. A few pretty good lookers but little English. Will talk about this more in my report on the last 30 days.

Udon Thani and the Ton Koon Hotel.....I almost forgot this episod of my early life in LOS.....checked in at the hotel with a cute thing from Nong Khai as she wanted visit her younger syster studying in Udon....ended up hitting a wonderful Heinekens girl when the other was out with the syster.....
I believe Udon Thani has one of the most impressive collection of good looking Tgs, second only to Korat....

Just came back from a week in Udon.
Have a huge nightlife here, grils very friendly.
Some places are open till 4-5am...
I can recommend on Mr. Tong Bar it's opposite Chronsrie Hotel. It's new style bar, many hotties come here every night looking for farang friend and most of them will happy to join you to your room.
Prices - very cheap, they will not ask for nothing, just say thanks for anything u gave them.
Another good pick up bar is Boxip, it's located opposite to Udon hotel and open till 5am.

That trip to Udon was before I got married...I camed to Thailand in two periods...first time, 9 months, got my ass kicked very badly by LOS and its people, second time, got back much wiser and here I am, still, for now....
