I was recently back in Chiang mai for two weeks and the early closing times have affected many places.
the new late night rundown is as follows
Bubbles is now the only disco open until 2am thus making it a f_cking zoo on friday and saturday nights.
Spicy is still and will always be open until the early hours of the morning.
Currently a small pub dance club called SO cool is open some nights until 4 am. It is located on chiang klan past the night bazaar on the left side of the road in a small shopping complex near the thai farmer bank.
Another destination is Forte also open until 4 am with the added bonus of having resident talent on site. Dancing girls that you can take out. One of the girls there is bar none the most attractive working girl in chiang mai IMHO. Forte is located on the road going to the airport plaza about 300 meters before the overpass on the left.
Of the beer bars the best looking girls currently work at stairway to heaven on loi kroh.
All the beer bars currently close at midnight and even well established places like the riverside adn the goodview have to close at one.
