Hi Bros,
Anybody out there with any reports on interesting places & activities in Haadyai, Phuket, Pattaya & Chiangmai ?
How is the night scene in those places ? Places to go and places to avoid, prices, massage parlours, discos/nightclubs, ladyboys, good eating places ,hotels, etc, etc, etc, ...............

phuket-patong beach
ladyboys not my thing,but there are plenty around.
on beach road at closing time is best time to get them.
they stand there calling out across the road,offering many things.
also in soi katoey,there are a few bars exclusively geared for them.
one one soapy massage in patong-cristins.
have never partaken but have had good reports.
a couple in phuket town but i have never bothered going to phuket town.
heard it is quite and i could'nt be bothered.
disco/nightclubs.
shark disco is now closed and the only other big one is banana disco on beach road.
supposed to be full of freelancers,but how do you know?.
they could be hardened BG's on night off or visiting after a S/T.
tai-pan is another lively place at the end of bangla road opposite rockhard a go-go.
i always stay in the same place,individual bungalows 3 minutes walk from bangla road,but so secluded.
800 baht per night,but i like it there and guest friendly..
many places cheaper/guest friendly.
have many websites for hotels if you want them.
as in any resort there are many places to eat,wether you want tourist places or local.
i usually eat in the thai stalls that are hidden away in backstreets.
just about everything non thai is available and i sometimes take the girls for a meal in these places just to get them to try something different.
the only place i avoid is the paradise complex as it is the gay area.
have been there for a laugh and to look around and satisfy my curiousity,but not my thing.
prices are up to you,but as a rule
bar beers-500 S/T,1000 L/T
go-go's 1000 S/T 2000 L/T
can be cheaper or more expensive,down to your barganing skills and at 02:00 there is a free for all.
girls wanting 3000 L/T at 01:00 will now ask for 500 L/T.
the 7-11 at the end of bangla road is now the new pick up joint after closing.
places to go is no problem.
most of the nightlife is concentrated on bangla road with a lot hidden away in the soi's which branch off from it.
there were 10 go-go's,but i hear 3 have closed?,including my regular which is so annoying.
my favourites are now rockhard and playschool.
many,many bars and you will physically pulled into them if you walk along bangla or soi eric as you walk past them.
soi eric is another favourite,about 18-20 bars and have good friends in 2 of them and another is owned by a brit so i spend time there and he always keeps the girls warm for me.

Chaing Mai is a great place if you want to get away from the glitz and sleeze of BKK. Stayed a week and then returned 2 weeks later. Recommend the Montri hotel at 575 baht (I think). Clean and well located. Good View restraunt was great. Inexpensive but on the water and food from Filet Migon to Thai. Live entertainment and great service. Sunday nights in April they were having a street festival catering mostly to locals....seriously about 20,000 showed up....wall to wall people for blocks but lots of fun. I loved the place and met some very nice low key ladies there who are still emailing me.

About Chiangmai:places to pick up freelancers and "normal" girls:"Space Bubble" disco on Charoen Prathet Rd,100 Bath enter fee,include one drink,house and popular music playing.I hate this place,but plenty of girls inside."Fan Fan Fan" and "Bossi" disco's on Chiangmailand road-"thai stile" places-no farang coming to those places,free entrance,hordes of stunners,some "LIve-Thai" band is playing there.Worth visit cause u only Farang there,LOT of attention...
No bargirls,no freelancers,just pretty "free" girls.Learn some Thai before u going.....
"Nice illusion"-small dance-bar,on Chaiyphum road,good pick up place,free entrance,live band and disco,very friendly girls(mix of normal,freelancers,and bar-girls).I've good luck in this place before......try it.
About ladyboys,I know is some place on Chanklan rd,but never've been there or deal wuth ladyboys in Chiangmai.If someone know- share the info plz....

Just my thought on Christin in Phuket. I would have to say it is only average for a soapy. Nothing exceptional but there were 30 to 40 girls. most from 5 to 7 a few 8's. Service was again only average. Most times just one pop. I prefer BKK parlors better, but the sun, water, beach and diving are the best.

Try the massage at the Phucome Hotel - Huay Keow Road/Canal Road intersection - next to Dunkin Donuts.
