Checked out another forum about Chiang mai. Apparently some of the hotels have recommendable in-house massege with the full works. One hotel - Chiang Mai Hill Hotel was reported to have sauna oddered for 860 Baht. Wat was not clear to me is whether this includes a girl with full personal service. This was reported in the context of where to find girls and sex in CM.
Anyone knows?

The Chiang Mai Hills Hotel has a fishbowl included in the hotel. I assume that apart from in-house service they do delivery as well, the prices might have gone up a little and you might pay extra for out-house but you will surely get the full works.

I'll be in Chiang Mai ina few weeks. Are there any issues with non-guest friendly hotels? I need someplace respectable (ie. not like Nana in BKK), that will also allow extra guests without hassle.
I'm looking at staying at the Lotus Pang Suan Kaew... Anyone have a recommendation?

Spent a week in Chiang Mai last year.
After 1 day, hated the place. Wanted to leave. Tame night out even though I did my best.
Actually did a few touristy things.
After 3 days, grew to like the place.
After a week (& I was on the direct flight back to Phuket), didn't want to leave. Much slower pace, no pushy girls, met some great people, had a party thrown by the staff in the bar when we left).
Recommend it to anyone, but don't expect it to be BKK or Phuket.
