Maybe I am simplistic, but I do not even like the idea of trying to understand a paedophile person.
I cannot accept phrases such as "We have to see his difficult childhood" or "we have to consider his different cultural background".
There is no excuse, there is absolutely no excuse for raping a 2-yo child. Its as simple as that.

I think I have a fairly open mind and do not have the blinkers on.
I agree with what you people are saying about those mongrel barstads. They are a curse on genuine tourists, be it for buying clothes, jewellery, sex with adults, sight-seeing, who visit these countries like LOS,who are just out for a good time.
Forget what the maggots say, " I had a deprived childhood, I was interferred with when I was young," etc. They should build a bridge and get over it. It is not a disease they have, it is a very sick warped mind and they should be taken out, somehow!.
I have never seen any of this sickening behaviour in LOS, and probably hope I never do, because I may get a brain snap and something may happen to them. But I have to realise that I am in a foreign country and what could happen to me, so if I hear or know of those areas where these mongrels are, I will steer clear of it.
It is a crying shame that this shit goes on, I for one would like to see it stamped out, but, it is world wide, how do you do it. Simple, 1st conviction 10 yrs in the slammer, 2nd time, never to be released or firing squad. None of this bullshit appeals, bond's, caught 1st time and gone.
The people in countries need money, but this is not the way to achieve it.
That is my thoughts at this time.

And just HOW do you know that you are seeing that behaviour???
I doubt they will be playing "Hide the sausage" in the middle of Walking Street. So the best thing you will see is an old guy walking with a child.
Now there is a fair percentage of old f***ers (or maybe not so old) on this board that marry a native girl. A fair percentage of these marriages will have or produce children. So when do you see something illegal and when do you see some dad escorting his (adoptive) child around Pattaya or BKK???
So try to keep that in mind when you snap. And don't forget to send us a postcard from Bankok Hilton.

Having spent some time at Lamai Beach during my May 13-May 22 adventures in LOS I can confirm that there are underage girls working there. As discussed in this forum we already know they are out there so be careful. My tgf, who is 20, and I returned to her old bar to visit some of her friends. She introduced me to two friends from her village in Surin and she invited them over to the hotel for a swim in the pool. Quietly while they were on the other side of the pool she whispered they were only 16. One girl, who looked about 13, had already had a baby and came to work bar at Lamai. The tgf explained the father was 21 I believe and was working in the Thai army and he had no idea his gf and the mother of his son was working bar in Lamai. I'm pretty sure they are both back in Surin now but spent several weeks at the bar looking for "companionship". Use caution.

While in no way agreeing with or condoning the actions of Farang paedophiles. I find it rather annoying that whenever one is caught, this forum fills up with people telling how disgusted they are. Perhaps if you read the figures and reports and realised that Farangs here account for as little as 2-5% of the actual cases, then maybe you would also condemn the Thais who commit these acts or through providing/selling children allow them to be commited. Its time Thailand started dealing with the whole problem and not just the sicko's from overseas who can afford to make large donations to the Policemans Ball.

The funny thing is that the TGs in there mid-20s look like they are in there teens, so to under guess a TGs age would be pretty hard. LG is 24 but can look like she is in her mid-teens in the wrong outfit.
