Thanks for the info. I think I will have an all new strategy for my next visit to Chiang Mai. I guess what I like about the massage places is that even if a stunner is busy, you see the picture and can check back again. When you walk by the beer bars, you have no idea of whether there are some beauties who get snatched up by the lucky. I usually see a lame crew with a few border line girls. I can't get myself to do the act when I just came from Bangkok, having been with some fine looking sweet girls. Maybe you just have to get lucky, like finding a parking spot in a crowded city; you need lots of patience.

This thread hasn't been updated with gogo information in awhile so I thought I'd post a recent experience in CM. I was there for only one night but that is really about all you need to explore the gogo scene.
First stop was Foxey Lady near the Night Market. After my tuk tuk dropped me at the night market, it took me a few minutes to get my bearings and walk to Foxey. The NM is quite congested these days - far cry from my prior visits.
FL had a reasonable number of decent looking girls dancing. Maybe one or two stunners, 12 or so in all. Four girls dancing in a shift. One of the tier 2 gals came and sat with me. I wanted to seek a bit further so I left.
Next I headed to Star XIX. A lot of guys bag on this place but I've been there several times and usually find it to be only mildly annoying. This time was no exception.
First of all, you gotta understand before you go, this is a Thai style gogo - it is not oriented towards farangs and while it is glitzier than most of the Thai places it is still primarily frequented by Thais.
Start with a 150 baht cover charge. That is to eliminate the deadbeats. The 150 baht gets you a beer. This time they had Heinekin (I seem to remember they didn't on earlier visits).
Any additional drinks you buy you must pay on the spot. Nearly always a girl will sit with you pretty quick. You must tell her you are not interested otherwise she will sit with you even if you are not interested. Don't worry, another will come along in a few minutes.
They have a big stage (compared to other CM gogos) and usually 4-5 ladies dancing at once. On this night, I noted about 25 girls in all - way more than any other place I visited that night. And quite a few stunners actually.
Sure enough, after a short stay one girl came and sat with me. The girls here tend to be pretty interactive but this one, while reasonably hot looking, was not that hands on. Nice body, cute face. Bought her a drink but she didn't get too frisky so I decided to move on.
Next was spotlight. Really lame that night. Again maybe a dozen girls dancing, nothing really to shout about.
Took a walk around the moat and confirmed that Cozy Corners was no longer a gogo. Walked past Stair Way to Heaven but could not figure out the way in and didn't want to ask because it wasn't that great the last time I was there anyway.
So back to Star XIX. Still many ladies around when I got there. Had to pay cover again but no biggie since the drink comes with it. Another hot girl sits with me - about the same heat rating as the one from before. Several other real hotties up and dancing. Even a shower show going on on stage (a bit of a surprise but cut off just before it was time to show skin).
This time a second girl joins the first at my table. The second girl was quite interactive. First she puts my hands on her boobs, then her but and then shoves my hand down the front of her bikini bottom. Definetly a girl, although had no difficulty believing it at first. Nice boobs too. Not the hottest of faces.
Fortunately girl #2 had to go dance leaving me with girl #1 who would probably rate a stunner in some guys categories, certainly a solid 8.5 in mine. So I decided I go for the money shot.
Usual price of 1500 baht ST. At least she didn't try to get it all in the bar like one I'd taken from there before. A reasonable to moderate experience was had with her in bed. Certainly not GFE. My feeling about this place is that if you want a GFE go somewhere else. If you just want to bang a pretty good looking TG hooker, you'll find one here.
Also stopped at Bubbles on the way home but nothing to write about there.

the best places for me were the fully Thai venues where I was the only Falahng in sight at 03:30 on a Saturday morning
but if you're thinkin' of travelling to CM specifically for P4P I just wouldn't bother

Any chance you could be a bit more specific?
Like, I have no idea where the Butterfly shop is for a start, and Huay Kaew is a LONG street... is it the same side as Amari Rincome? You mention "Two blocks behind 3 shop houses in a row on the left corner" - whats the other road at that intersection called?
Further to that, what does the building look like that the Housewives Club is in? And how does it operate / what costs etc... We'd all like to know these things... its been an unsubstantiated legend for far too long...

I have been to Chiang Mai twice before, and I will be arriving 24th November, Loy Krathong.
I believe that in CNX it is a very big festival.
Girls in the bars etc may want to have bar paid early so they do not have to work on this special night.
The only snag is there are not many girls around at 6-00 pm.
I am not sure that if I went to the river I would meet the type of girl that I am looking for
Maybe I will stay cool and finish up at Spicy about 1-30, then let a TG pick me.
