Freelancer rates seem to be the same as elsewhere in Thailand. Many of the customers are Asians and they probably get better deals.
I stick to standard BKK prices, paying 1000 for ST, 1500-2000 for LT.
Maybe its just me freelancer rates up country are nowhere near what your paying. I don't pay what you pay in BKK, Pattaya, Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai.
Further north you go the BG expect less money. Why because the farangs they come across for the most part are expats and they don't pay anywhere near what you guys pay.

Been here now about ten hours. Brought my rudimentary Thai language skills with me. Seems that I speak enough MP and Disco to have had a mighty fine evening, however.
The half Thai/Vietnamese gal from Mukdahan I hooked up with at Kosa Massage smoked me nearly to nirvana tonight. A veritable CIM explosion it was! We hadn't been outta the tub for more than fifteen minutes and I was ready to call it a session and tip her generously. Turns out she had other plans. Yup! She patiently teased my Johnson till he was up to the task then asked me to suit up for a ride I will not soon forget. In a nutshell- it boiled down to *her* bangin' me for all she was worth, trying to get me to pop a second time. I mean, it takes a helluva an effort for me to blow twice within an hour. And I can't be sure whether her intention was to get me or her to go orgasmic at that point, but I do know she spent every bit as much time hammering me as I did her in the pursuit of that final pleasure.
Not often have I gotten up from an MP bed and been pooring sweat for the effort- but tonight I did.
Took my sailors legs over to the Sofitel and hit the Gik disco first. Right on 12ish and the place was pretty empty, like maybe twenty people. Next up was Cleo's. Wow! Right up to par with the best of what Bangkok offers gentlemen. Girls were a spot-on combo of hot, refined *and* sweet. One nestled under each arm, a cocktail for each and I check bin to head off to Gik again at 1300. This time I've got a sweetie on each arm. Set me back 400baht was all. On the way out, the mamasan suggests if I prefer not to sleep alone all I need do is decide which option I like best and give that sweetie 2100baht in the morning. Hmmm...quite an accommodating hotel you run, mama. Off to- Gik where the girls talk me into a bottle of whiskey + mixers for all of 600baht. Done! Now we're a party of five. Come back from the toliet and we're atable of two, party of seven and two of 'em are Thai guys who seem to slag off soon as their ignored but get a glass each out of it. Simple as that!
Close Gik and my favorite inquires if I would prefer to sleep or be distracted. Don't really want to explain how all the power was plumb sucked outta me so I decline gracefully with the offer of a rain check extended. But of course you are in charge, Skip. And with that she loaded me in her car, deposited me at my hotel and planted a kiss on the lips and two on the cheeks for good measure.
Initial impressions of this town verify everything that was so far written about it, and then some.

Why was a LT price of 2100 suggested? Why not 2000? I wonder what the extra 100 is for.

Swordsman- Yup! I find that ejection odd also. Place seemed to be very playful and sanook minded. Lots of Thai 20somethings with casual attire, too.
Having slept on the b2100 LT the only justification I can think of is I might have 'walked into it' when the first request out of my mouth, to the mamasan, was for an Engrit speaking sweetie- maybe the mamasan ratcheted up the farang price to newbie territory on that basis. Dunno. But I do know it's a long way off from what I was reading here.
The entertainment level in Sofitel is nothing short of remarkable- a veritable underground maze on manly delights awaits you there. Cleo's, situated deep into the back of the assorted venues is a kind of Gentlemans Lounge. Done in a very smart Egytptian motif, and laid out as a decagon it has a bevy of comfort women available to sit and chat with weary travelers in the main chamber. It also has nine private Karaoke rooms attached which I did not investigate (yet). Though this is not to be confused with 'the' infamous Karaoke of the Raja Orchid where the ladies disrobe in the private rooms- I never made it that far last night.
Still many more venues to explore in this charming city....

Loco1- As I recall, it was baht 1k for blue badges, 1300 for red, and 1600 for the model class outside the bowl. To find the MP is a bit tricky- exiting Kosa hotel entrance you make a hard u-turn at the right side, base of the steps and follow a sidewalk that 'appears' to be leading you to a Karaoke just up ahead- the MP entrance is tucked discreetly off to the left side of this walkway.
Woke up today with a woody destined for the gal I took there the other night- have intentions of taking her tonight to satiate the seed 
Found another MP last night. They quoted baht 1k FB and 1600 models. This MP was caddy-corner opposite of the Kean Inn and one storefront further away [from Kaen Inn] intersection. Building out front has a lime green neon sign fronting the street. The MP has actually two entrances- one, fronting the street where you are able to see the FB girls right thru the door, and a second recessed back from the street in a parking lot courtyard.
Had a look at the Charoen Thani Princess Hotel MP the other night. This was a bit an interesting mix- 22 FB gals were all wearing white coats over their street attire. Papasan said this was the TTM massage FB all ladies therein were b300/2hrs TTM but you can negotiate extras with all. Then, they had six models on the side. These were b1600 [I think], though I wasn't all that impressed. Had some fun just observing in there though. I decided to chill and approach things from a Thai connisseurs perspective, while enjoying a tall Heini. While I drank and took it all in one old, and very discriminating Thai punter caused four of the models to be escorted over to his table one by one, interviewed each for several mintues, and sent each back to their sofas as [apparently unsatisfactory candidates] and then left without taking anyone.  In total, he spent nearly thirty minutes on the interviews before he left I'll bet.
Note: the Charoen Thani Princess Hotel MP entrance is very oddly located, for purposes of discretion I suppose. Your best bet will be to ask to be shown the entrance.
Kosa's MP had a similar vibe going on, too. Plus, they've got a really large and nice viewing lounge set up for guys to make their selection. I took my time killing another Heini there while observing the nuances of it all. Kosa has some very hot looking models, a few with enhanced features. The rooms are pretty average but include a porno channel featuring farang action.
Haven't yet made it to the hottest disco in town yet- '172', but hope to either tonight or Sat.
