I would advise viewing before renting a house around Bang Rak due to the proximity of the airport. I was visiting Big Buddha & noticed the Bangkok Airways
flight path was right over this area. Mental note to self at the time - don't stay here
If your friends are okay living next to a noisey flightpath then okay but its not what you would call peaceful. There's alot of daily flights in & out for a small Island, at least 30 with the first one arriving at 7 in the morning the last leaving at 10 at night

Yea, I noticed that as well and mentioned the location to him and thats one reason he said he will get a hotel and check it out...the price and apparent cleanliness of it seemed attractive to him....
But thanks tezza, I didnt realize it was a directly under the flight path I will pass that along....might be why he had several to choose from in the area
