Greetings everybody,
I will be visiting Chiang Mai on my next trip and was wondering what the Westin Chiang Mai was like. I think it may now be a Sheraton. I have some points to use...anyways, how is the location and will I have any trouble with bringing back the ladies?

Yep, maybe a little out, but very reachable with a tuk-tuk, I would guess maybe 10 minutes from the city center.
No info on girl friendliness, but if you book for two, no problem.

Amazing. No one has mentioned the karaoke bars outside town. Best looking girls in town in VIP room. The come in the room for a line up and do as you wish with your selection. Pay by the hour. If you take the girl out (not that there is anything you couldn't do there) the bar collects the total. No need to pay her afer. All inclusive.

You walk in and there is a large open karaoke bar. Off to the side will be a mamasan, and tell her you wnat a VIP room. It usually has a couch of two in front of the TV, a table and a not very small. They will bring in girls dressed in sort of white robes and you make a selection (or two). A waiter/waitress brings you in drinks. You pay by the hour (not too expensive) and sing/drink/diddle with the girl. If you want it all, you will deal with the bar, which will tell you the price for the night or ST in the room.
Some VERY lovely girls I must say. Some speak English, some not. All speak the universal language.

I'm intrigued, Rovineye. But I must say: Your deal sounds dangerously expensive. On the one extreme I can get blown and laid at a local MP in BKK for 400 THB. I would hypothesise that your karaoke adventure is on the opposite side of that scale (way out in the red) reading "For the extremely wealthy only".
Let's say you run up a tap at your favourite CM karaoke bar. How much will you have paid - from start to finish - before you can finally stick it to her ?
A more reasonable comparison for this challenge, perhaps, would be the 1200 THB you pay at Sayuri Complex for soapy plus BJ and FJ. I'm sure the girls will even let you sing in the shower if you absolutely must.

some thoughts about chiang mai and chiang rai:
- dont go for the p4p, if u are used to bkk or pattaya, you will find nothing like that. but if u want to visit north thailand anyway, have a look around.
- chiang mai: action is concentrated around thanon moon muang soi 3. I saw 2 a gogos, entered 1, girls averaged 2-8 in my eyes. had one real cutey though. there are about 10 beer bars in the area. the ratio of punters to girls was about 4:1. this is not pattaya with 20 bargirls and 2 punters sitting around... the girls were really nothing special, coming from the isaan and north. I did not check the mps and the karaokes out though.
-chiang rai: action is concentrated along thanon jet yot. there are about 5 beer bars and no a gogos. some seedy, dark looking mps are aound, too. I saw 1 karaoke club. saw one cutey and had an excellent time with her. in general nothing special.
-general travelling info:
i liked chiang rai alot more than chiang mai. the people are alot friendlier and life is really laid back. I recommend the boat ride from thaton to chiang rai, nice views of the nature. mae sai is an interesting border town and its easy to do a visa run. the area is great for bikers, because of the good standard of roads and the light traffic.

Hours of operation are 20:00-24:00, according to the door. Lady drinks are abysmally small, and 70 baht. 3 flights of stairs up to this place - all about 5'5" tall.
I arrived at 8:30pm. Dark is an understatement -I could barely see the faces of the dancers, and the drint attendant (who wanted cash on the spot) had to use a flashlight. Was immediately accosted by one of the dancers, who immediately asked about a lady drink. OK. Now moved from the front area near the dancing platform to the back area, where it is even darker. Very, very pushy. Off comes the top, one hand put on her breasts: "You like young girls? I'm 23." Next my hand is shoved down her briefs. Within 3 or 4 minutes, we had come to the discussion of money: 2000 baht (500 bf, 1500 st, no lt available from her). "You pay now?" Not yet, so she goes out to dance. Comes back, more fondling, dry humping, lapdance, etc. All interspersed with "you pay now?" every minute or so. I finally told her I was only interested in long time, and she responds with "ok. You pay 100 bht tip." I figured, what the hell, and did. She did a lot for just that little lady drink. She said she'd send me someone over for lt.
A beefy girl shows up. Doh! No rolls of fat, but I could deal without the beefiness. Just as pushy, closer to my face, immediately takes off her top and rolls my face in her tits. Interesting. Then does it again for good measure. Then comes the money talk, along with pointing back and forth between the two of us, and the obligatory cocksucking pantomime while she rubs my dick. Her breath, while not atrocious, was not good. I declined.
