No, no. He's welcome in Thailand - just not anywhere aside from Patpong. Patpong is clearly an area where his ilk have tread.
I just went into one of the Kings Castle bars, and every other word out of their mouth was "tip." I said "check bin," and a girl sat down next to me and said "tip?" I hadn't even looked at this girl, never mind bought her a drink or talked to her.
As he would seem to have thought "it's only $5; it's only 200 baht; it's small money." And as the girls in Patpong say when they ask for tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip: "It's small money for you. You give me tip."
The only tip I want to give them is that of my middle finger.

Sorry, but I disagree with your point. We should give to the TG what she asks and tip her when she deserves it.
Don't forget that the cost of living is not the same in the LOS than in most of our birth countries. Can you eat for less than 3 US$ by day in your country? Not so easy, I guess, but in Thailand, it is quite possible!!!
With 1,000 baht, you can buy here:
- 100 kgs of lao rice (already cooked),
- or: more than 30 big bottles of local beer,
- or: 4 or 5 beautiful T-shirts or: 3 or 4 pairs of nice shoes for your girlfriend.
Or you can employ a man at a construction site during 6 days or so. Or have 25 haircuts in Udon Thani (price for men).
I am not a cheap Charlie, but if a girl is satisfied with a certain amount of money, I won't give her twice this amount (or more)...

Understand your point and in some terms I do also agree...but based on the fact that offering few hundred baht more to a girl doesn't ruin our assets but it could make a huge difference to her.....then why not?!

Mostly because it is not fair to the locals (and even for the expats!), and if everybody acts like that, you will soon be in a situation where the prices won't be too much different than in farang-land!!!
For example, I have seen 4 years ago in Pattaya a man who wouldn't sell me a T-shirt for less than 600 baht!!! Usually, for exactly the same quality and design, I could buy 4 T-shirts for the same amount. I didn't buy, because I had other options.... If everybody was willing to pay 600 baht for this T-shirt, then you wouldn't find it for a lesser price no more, nowhere...
And really, I can tell you that some Thais already think that many Farangs are stupid because they buy things far too much expensive. They won't respect you because you pay more, and sometimes, it is just the opposite!
In many places, you have (at least) two different rates (one for the Thais, the other one, higher of course, for the foreigners). So, IMHO, it is not a very good thing to encourage this practice by our own attitude!
Then, my advice is: be fair, give a (reasonable) tip when it's appropriate, but don't overpay, please!!!

Going for an S/T with a girl is a business transaction. It is not charity, it is not a gift. A simple business transaction. A price tag is displayed for a service rendered, and you can either accept the service at that price, bargain for a better price, or go to a different vendor. Doesn't get much simpler than that.
