your story reminds me so much of mine.
liftoff has been very kind in the past to post that he likes my stories,but now that you have posted your story,i am a novice,as Prince/Sinead O'Connor said 'no-one compares to you'

You got to me with "You take us to Ko Chang ,you first man to give me anything." This is what LOS is really all about. It is the kind of thing that has kept my TGF and me together for more than a year now.
I challenge your assumption that she is too young and you are too old. This is not the way the world works in LOS. Yeah, maybe in the West, but you can don't have to let this bit of happiness pass you by. What is the crime here? If you live another 25 years she'll be in her forties, and you'll have been very happy for all that time. And she'll end up very well off. Maybe she meets a young dude who sets her up, maybe not. But that works two ways: she is also free to choose you too. Remember when you were 10 years old, how far away 25 seemed? So why cheat yourself out of the same chunk of your life yet lived?
You paint a heartwarming picture. In LOS, even with all the contradictions and pitfalls, it may work.

PP, I am an older guy that has a TGF that is half my age. She has never worked in a bar and has a good job. She had a bad marriage before so has had a taste of the harshness of life and looks for more than just a poster-child face now (mine would only work for Halloween...lol). I have mentioned the age thing and she dismisses it completely and lets me know that is an issue I have, not her. Pretty hard to argue with that. Their culture places value on different things. Thank God. 
If you and she feel love, then go for it, Bud. Don't let the chance slip away. As you well know, opportunities for happiness are rare. Take the chance. Enjoy the happiness for both of you.

Good and very convincing story. The age thing is not such a big deal in Asia. It is not uncommon for young girls to marry much older chaps.
My TGF is now 23, which is just over one third my age. I told her from day one that I am much too old for her, but she would have none of it. A both her parents are dead, I haven't had to deal with them, but I am very polite to her grandmother, although this lady is just six year older than myself.
This experience has made me realize that maybe an old chap is not too bad for a young lass. If we eventually marry, she will likely find another husband after I am gone, but it would be sad for kids growing up without a Dad; thus we haven't any offspring yet.
