there are a group of FL girls from the discoteques....my experience was 1K LT..but selection is slim pickens..
if you are just going for a couple of days bring a honey with you..

If you want to blow the socks off the hooker you are dragging to Ko Samet, there is a hotel/restaurant on the north side of the island that will do the trick. A 5 minute ride past the ferry 7-11 (away from the main part of town) and you will see the restaurant name "Summer" on the right hand side. This place has bunglows on the water and a restaurant on the pier which consists of 3-4 tables where you sit on the pier itself.
Very private and very romantic and your girl will feel oh so special. Excellent service (British lady runs the place), great Pacific Rim style food and very affordable. Type of place you see in Travel/Leisure mag with a nice writeup and a price tag of $200-$300/meal. We drank and ate up a storm and it came out to 1600b, they dont take credit card, the lady even let us leave to go to the ATM.
Highly recommend this "best kept secret"!

Somewhat late but a little TR for you.
I got a shared mini-van from Pattaya to Samet, I think the van dropped me off in Ban Phe, where I was given a ferry ticket.
This was organised through Samet tours in Pattaya and they are linked with Malibu resort on Samet.
My ferry went to the far side of the Island, I enjoyed the scenic boat trip but it is better to go direct.
Taxi mafia were waiting at Vong duan bay where Malibu is, fortunatley there were a couple of other Falangs to split the cost.
My hotel was White sands at Sai kaew, OK, but do not expect the same quality/money ratio as Pattaya.
It was about 10 yards from the beach though.
Several bar/restaurants along the beach which start setting up about 5pm.
Not many girlie bars, in fact arguably none, but there is a small disco where maybe the odd freelancer is.
I am a typical Pattaya type falang but a waitress in one of the restaurants pulled me, so I had her ST for a couple of nights.
It would be better to take your own TG but if you feel like I did, that is I need a rest from Pats but if there is anything going I wouldn't mind a pop, you should be OK.
ps: If staying at Malibu, definitely take your own, it is all on it's own.
If anyone can give me some good info on Ko Chang please send me a PM.
