Can ayone suggest any girl friendly hotels in Koh Samui, particularly Lamai?

Almost ANY bungalow in Lamai will be girl friendly. I stayed at Lamai Inn 99, which is about as central as you can get, but still quiet. Any mini-bus will know it, but the easiest way to find it is to face McDonald's, and follow the dirt road on the left side of the building, all the way through the coconut trees, and when you can see the water, look right. Last April/May it was B1000 for the aircon bungalows nearest to the beach, and about B400 for the fan bungalows. Nice staff, and close to everything.
A little further north, I checked out another place called Utopia. It is a little farther from the action, but much nicer grounds and rooms, and a good restaurant on the beach. It was B800 aircon, but the staff wasn't as helpful. Still, I think I would stay there next time.
Except at high season, I wouldn't bother with reservations in Lamai; there are literally dozens of places to stay. I really love the place.
One word of caution: the island is SMALL, at least as far as the BG telegraph goes. I saw girls in Nathon that I had been with in Lamai (opposite side of the island), and my 'friends' all knew if I had been straying into strange places. Be clear that you are a free agent, or have fun hiding on your 'holiday'

Beware of the Beachcomber hotel, they will charge you 500 bht fee if they catch you with a b/g. I had booked a double room, and tried to argue the point, but they wouldn't listen. If you do stay here, you can sneak your girl in from the beach path.
I then moved about 100 yards up to a bunglaow resort called Beach Comber (i think) opposite McDonalds. Very girl friendly, as are all bunglow resorts.
