I'm going to Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi this december with my buddies and their girl friends. they're gonna be doing a lot of snorkeling, swimming, and what not.. rrrrright..........
i really couldn't care less about snorkeling. but i hope i could get some muff diving, though. TimidGuy said it's a bad idea to hit on the tourist chicks there. i'll take his advice. so is there any beer bar or whatever so i can hang out or pick up a (working) girl while my buddies shag their girlfriend rotten?

It's possible, but not terribly probable, from what I remember of Koh Phi Phi. There are a few girls working traditional Thai massage who were eager for me to take them to a disco. One was semi-cute, but I declined for other reasons. Don't recall there being anybody who seemed even semi-pro in the handful of night spots, but I wasn't really on the prowl. There were a lot of blond haired, blue eyed tourists who might have been available for some fun.
Net, best bet is to take some with you. If you don't do watersports or rock-climbing or veg out well, then you will be bored out of your skull on this island after a day or so.

Was is it a bad idea to pick up falang chicks in a tourist draws like phi phi??
I like to take a break and prey on falang fem in places like PaNang or even on Koh San Road from time to time.
But the novelty wears off quick enough. I remember fast that I just cant take big mouth opinonated white girls for too long.

Depends on you and how long they're going to be around, etc. I didn't but my buddy, who wasn't into Asian girls (fool!) picked up a lovely Calgary girl. Her sister was around but only flirted with her, nothing even close to come of it. So he had his romance for the trip (he was visiting me from the States) and no one got hurt. They were fun to drink with, I can give them that.

Dont get me wrong Ive hooked up with some pretty ok white chicks from time to time. A cutie south african in bkk. A stunning Isreali chick (oooh taboo) on Koh Chang.
I just cant stand the dummy munters that infest tourist thailand, crude creatures.
