Casey: Not to be a smart---, but it is Udon Thani. Not alot of nightlife. There are a few bars where you can pick up a friend for the night but they speak very little English. There is a good massage parlor, with fishbowl, behind the Udorn Hotel. Good luck.

How far is Udon Thani (thanks for the spelling it helps to find info if you've got the name right) from BKK or Chaing Mai? Thanks for the comments although I must admit that I'm not as excited as I once was.

It is about an hour fly from BKK to Udon Thani. I heard that would take about 16 hours to drive there because the road conditions isn't that great.
