It's a muslim island in Thailand so you will be awaken early in the morning by the Imans (or whoever calls out for prayers).
PhiPhi isn't a place for "action". You can always try to pick up some tourists. The bars are slow and laid back. Not that much action.
It's a place for swimming, tanning and scuba. Plus some great food!!!

Phi Phi Princess is by far the nicest place on the island. it's centrally located, clean, GREAT pool and swim-up bar, GREAT breakfast and very nice rooms. a huge room right on the beach was only $100 US. this year, i'm going back and could only get a garden bungalow for $65 US a night. well worth it.
night life is great, but TGs are scarce. you can get great handjobs at the massage parlor at Phi Phi Cabana for about 1000 baht. good-looking girls that you can date after midnight.
it depends on what you're into. there are lots of very attractive australian and european women on the island.

Phi Phi was a very nice visit.. I did a lot of snorkeling and stayed at one of the small resorts for B350 a night .. allowing for devaluation, perhaps B700 now??
You get there by boat.. once you come in you sort of go back the way you came in .. there were quite a few out there and I stayed at one where getting to the coral area was easy.
Not much action out there, but the second night I got to talking with a gal working in the kitchen.. she was cute and vivacious .. spoke a bit of English, but not much..
I asked her when she finished work and she said 11 .. I asked her if she would like to come see me when she finished.. she giggled and said OK .. showed up about 11:30 and we had a great time .. gave her B500 and she was very happy (25 to the US$) so perhaps B1,000 for all night now??
