I 'll fly to Udonthani after visiting this place I'll cross the border and I'll visit Vientiane back in Thailand my plan is Nong Khai, Khon Kaen, Roi Et, Ubon where is the action and hotels where are the girls what to pay etc.

Hi there,
Going to Isaan for the first time ever. Have a friend who's wife comes from Ubon Ratchathani. Will be staying in a hotel in downtown Ubon for a few days this summer.
What's the scene like there ? Any freelancer bars or is it strictly local brothels and karaoke ? If so: any recommendations ? (I have some experience navigating local brothels in BKK)

Hit BKK on 7th Aug, then flew directly to Khon khean. Stayed at Kosa hotel (B 1300 ) which is a nice place and located to the action places. A soapy massage parlour is attached to the hotel (B 1600 for two hours and got very nice girls). I ordered in room massage from the hotel and paid B 1600 (all inclusive).
The Bar scene is located near to the Sofitel hotel which is 2 minutes walking distance from Kosa. Near by lots of discos, beer bars and karokes (Avoid karoke especially one named Bla Bla Karoke which is on the main road which is a rip off place. They charged us 47 buckets of ice for a Black Label ordered ending up paying B 7,000/-). The biggest entertainment centre is located in the main road (Rad's place) which got beer bars, pubs, disco, live band and a go go bar. Girls were pretty nice over there. Nothing more to do there for more than 1 or 2 days

Its called Rad's entertainment centre. Its quite nice with some good BGs but mostly Thai customers. Its located on the main road near to sofitel hotel.
