i was there for three days last Feb. and stayed at the Thumrin Thana Hotel.The hotel and the rooms were pretty nice with a couple decent restaraunts and lounge downstairs but they were relatively empty though.
Somewhere i've read that Trang has been voted one of thailands most liveable cities or something like that. Anyways didnt get out too much other than boat tour to islands and some snorkeling....walked around the city some by myself and met a couple of girls that worked in a cell phone shop but my limited thai didnt help me get anywhere with them other than a pic & hi.
bellhop did hook me up with a girl for the night...nothing major but she took care of my needs. i'm sure there can be much more fun to be had but i guess you just need to know where to go.
