Just a quick one,
will be going down to Saigon early next month for some weekend sanook. I have been trying to find some sites that give some info on the nightlife and lady scene. Anybody have any advice, prices, and/or recommendations.

Hey Butz,
Have you heard about SARS? Vietnam is on the quarantine list, with a LARGE number of cases and fatalities.
Thai authorities are starting to screen people arriving from VN/China/SG at the airport. Are you sure this is a good time for this?

I believe they referred to Speed Disco as Gossip.
I heard from another board that for some reason it has been closed. I don't know if it continues to be so, but heard it was closed in January.
This is just a rumor. I hope it is not true, because I liked this disco when looking for a lover at night.

About SARS: according to World Health Organisation, no more SARS in vietnam. And anyway the cases were in hanoi, not saigon.
About girls, the best place is probably apocalypse now. The place may close early (maybe 1 am, it depends about their current relationship with the police). After that you can go to a bar called long phi (there's also another bar just near). I don't remember the adress, but all taxi drivers know it.
About price the current price is 50$ (of course they wil ask for more!). It should be for short-time, but it depends.... Of course, especially in the low season (now), you can negociate down when it is late and the girls haven't found a man.
Of course, also, in some discos, more beautifull girls will want 100 or even 200$, especially in places with lots of japanese... So if you see japanese in a disco, do like me: go away...
