Actually, I had an excellent time in Delhi (or was it New Delhi?) in 1999. I let the concierge at the Sheraton find a woman for me.
It was spendy, but she was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life and she was so sweet and knowledgeable that the experience rocked my world.
Based on my experiences in Northern India, I'd say the scene is fantastic as long as cash is no object.

Well, since everyone has their own idea of "spendy", perhaps I shouldn't have used the word at all. No doubt there are people who when I get around to price disclosure will say "I'd never spend that much for a piece of ass.", and those who will say, "That Tsonoqua is a cheap bastard to complain about the best piece of ass he's ever had at any price." although I'm not complaining, just listing.
My comment about spendy was directly related to the fact that I don't expect to spend money as if I were in America when I am in a developing nation. In any event, the cost for LT to the concierge was 7,000 rupees and I gave her a 1,000 rupee tip.
The prices were less in Agra and Jaipur, but so was the quality.

In Delhi, you have usually in your hotel room a weekly/monthly magazine with a lot of ads for restaurants, shopping, etc... AND a massage section.
If you call one of these "massage" numbers (usually mobile phones), you'll have to negociate with a guy (pimp) who comes to your room with the girl, gets the money and leaves.
You can have one shot only with the girl, including BBBJ, for 4,000 Rupees (2 years ago). I assume the same exists in Bombay.
PS: don't forget to tip (100-200 Rupees)the security man who comes with them to your room, just to check "everything is ok"
