After sending the current bodyguard back to Bangkok from Yangon I had some fun Burmese style.
On the Inle Lake part of my trip I met a Burmese that showed me around the bar scene in Tangee. We did the fashion show bars, the tea house bars, then when that wasn't producing the company I wanted, he took me to a Burmese whore house out of town. Down a dirt road, a few corners, then at the end of the road there it was.
This place was right out of the 30's, bamboo 3 room hut, the whole works. We went in, and 6 ladies were brought in. They ranged from 5-9 in the candle lit room.
My friend told me that the pimps were trying to get $40 out of me, but after he negotiated I got 2 for $23US total for the night.
I got both of them because neither wanted to be with my friend, he was pretty drunk by then.....lolol. Also I was the only one with condoms.
The performance by both was pretty good, but not up to Thai standards. They were both very affectionate, but lacked in the ability to suck good. The rest was good with them wanting to change spots constantly.
Neither had been with an American before.

So maybe you figure KoolBreez's friend scammed him for what, $5 - $10 bucks? Wow!
Koolbreeze seems to be more than happy no matter what the 'real' price was - and apparently has good cause to be. Good on him not to even suggest getting scammed.
There is a lesson there for you Baskoy, if you wish to learn it.

Want to pay f around, then make sure one's got the means to do so. Since there was room for negotiation, or maybe the girls fit into that certain price range of koolbreez's valuation, then he rightly negotiated. Maybe Baskoy thinks too much into scams. Even if there was a scam going on, too bad for the sucker who didn't do his research first, or if it was a newbie, consider it as learning fees.

500b each for the night, damn good pricing I figure even if it was a little above normal pricing.
Consider into this a stranger in a strange place, very strange as in a bamboo hut at the end of dirt roads and shit, recipes for greater disasters have been written in places like this and he gets what is considered by him a very good deal.
His friend not only did the right thing by him and looked after him safely. Is that not worth $5 or so to his friend who probably lives on less than 1/20th of what you make in a week.
Then figure in one was a 9 ?? hope this 5-9 was a scoring rate by the way, how many 'friends' do you meet like that when your a first time visitor to Thailand ??

Exotic taste I would say.
For me, I'll give the time warping a pass. I'm a creature of comfort. Grand foyers..air-cons..marble bath-tubs and the likes...

I could meet about five "friends" like that walking about 200mtr from my apartment. They are called Touts. OP didn't write about Burma he wrote about a sleazy bamboo brothel where you go to shag poverty stricken teenagers. A bit like K11 in Phnom Penh...
