I've read some information on Cambodia for Phenon Peng and Siem Riep. I'm going in late January. I know they have some rooms around the beer bars by the river. I've checked out some hotels on passionasia and precision reservations. The cheaper places are Town View, Golden Gate, Asia Hotel, Comfort Star Hotel ( Former :Comfort Inn), Queen Hotel, the, Riverside Hotel, and New York Hotel start at around $18 US per night. Are most hotels in Phenon Peng girl friendly and do I have to get a double occupancy room like in Thailand to avoid extra charges for company? Is it worth getting a double occupancy in Siem Reap being it doesn't look like it has much of a nightlife. Thanks.

Gminn03,, You will have zero problem finding a gal in Sien reap,, there is plenty to choose from.
Golden Orange hotel is run by a Canadian guy? and very friendly AND very girl friendly.

In SR, the Golden Orange was excellent. The owner and staff were tops, it's a new place, very clean. Has 2 free PCs on the second floor.

Doug at the Golden Orange is an American. He used to own Mikey's which is now Hope and Anchor in PP. Anyways he runs a nice hotel at a very reasonable rate, great staff and services.
He is a wealth of information and can help you find anything you are looking for expecially feminine.

Thanks. If anyone else has information, let me know. Not sure if this was answered, but do I have to book double occupancy if I stay at most hotels in these cities to avoid extra fees for company. Is the scene in Siam Reap good or kind of limiting being its a smaller city than Phenom Peng or less interesting girls?
