of course you can find cheaper than 50$, mostly in the backpacker district. But the quality is not so good....
There are also some kind of gogo bars called bia om, but the girls may not be too beautifull and are said to steal (and with the drinks they will charge, probably not less expensive). The 100-200$ range is more for the "pearl of asia" style.

I think for the freelancer or mamasan scene at the disco's and clubs it is probably around the $50-100 range in Saigon. I couldn't get the mamasaned girls to come down much. In Gossip or Speed Disco, the hotties with the mamasan's that I went with were costing me about 1million dong which I think was $75 for the whole night.
I hear it's cheaper outside of Saigon.
I don't think Vietnam is a great P4P scene. There are some type of groping on scene service bars in Saigon that I've never been but heard of before. That I believe is alot cheaper and I hear more relaxed.

Mini hotel ($15 to $25 with AC) is your best choice. If you don't know where to find one ? just ask any taxi driver,s cylo or xe om near you.
If you have two people, you can rent one room in any hotels when you checkin. If you bring a girls back after 10pm, rent a 2nd room and register the rooms under the girls's name. Most of 2 , 3 * hotels will rent the 2nd rooms for 1/2 price after 10pm for local girl. The 4 and 5 stars hotels may not offer discount for 2nd rooms.
