Funny story.

Yes, I too ran into one of the sisters in Bali at Xmas, still doing the rounds and surprisingly getting offers from old expats in Bali. I think its for the quality of service (rather than her looks - or lack of them as they have long gone) or be it the amount of experience she has obviously had over 10-15 years. Too old in the tooth for me aswell.

on pricing 150k or so would pretty much equal 1k in LOS for LT, but 300k/2k is great if the girls can get it?

Actually, 200,000 rupiah would be equal to 1000 baht. The exact exchange rate is 198,000 rupiah to 1000 baht. So close enough to 200,000. 150,000 rupiah is about 750 baht. If you can show me many Thai girls that you can bar fine and take all night for 750 baht, then you are visiting different places than I have.
400,000 would be about the same as 2000 baht for long time. I agree that 400,000 would be great if the girls can get it. I dont mind giving a girl 2000 baht for a long time if she is nice. I wouldn't mind giving a girl 400,000 rupiah for a long time if she was nice. Although 300-350K is fair. But if they were very good, why not give them 400K?
I have never paid a Thai girl 750 baht for a long time. And I never will. It's not enough. I have also never paid 150K to an indonesian girl. It's not a fair price. Hell, even for a short time I'll give them 200K. I dont know anyone who gives 150K for a long time. Is that what you give? If so, then I'm sure the girls refer to you as 'bule jaksa' (which is the indonesian equivalent of 'cheap charlie') and avoid you at all costs once the word gets out about how much you pay. Believe me, every girl in town will know how much you pay in a relatively short time. If you are only in town for a few days, that is not a problem however. You will be an unknown commodity. Bule jaksa wont be taking home the cream of the crop in the long run.
Enjoy your stay. I've never taken one of those mutes though. I like to joke around too much with the girls. The mute thing ruins the fun a little. I do know that mute from jj's. She is fairly cute.
