About Cambodia and Laos:
In Cambodia you can usualy get LT for10-15$, ST anywhere from 3-10$ depending on location and girl.
In Laos I was offered TB1000 for longtime but found out I stayed at the wrong GH so the girl made clear she would get arested if we went in together.
As she told me you can get away with in some hotels/gh but not in all, if cought she risks 3 months in jail while it will set you back some 2500$.

jesus christ almighty, thats a bit harsh dutch. ill remember to do my homework before any trips to cambodia or laos, thanks. im tempted to go back to amsterdam for a couple of days as i really loved my last visit but ill have to see how the money situation is. i saw the amsterdam arena from the train and would really like to go there for a tour or a game. ive been told that the park is the best place to go for sex and that the red light area is aimed at tourists so is expensive, while locals use the cheaper places near the park. i might try to find out more but i just love walking around those canals and looking at the girls, i think thats even better than the actual sex. (or maybe im just a dull f***). lol.

Btw, for the money you spend in a day in A'dam you could almost fly to LOS, might be a better option next time

neal, i have no idea what the showboat is but now youve got me interested. can you tell me anything about it? i may be going back to amsterdam for a couple of days soon to watch an ajax game, see the stadium and have another look round the red light area.

My advice to anyone thinking of visiting Amsterdam is to not concentrate too heavily on the RLD. Conditions and standards have deteriorated over the past few years, while prices have almost doubled. Cheap flights have meant that the 'piss and vomit' brigade can now afford to fly. Weekends are the worst.
If the first words spoken to you through the gap in the door are a terse "50 suck and f***", or she appears at all unfriendly, walk away. These women are professionals, protected by law and countless regulations, so you should expect good service. Don't let me put you off, Amsterdam is great fun, and if you like canals and old bulidings, then so much the better.
There are several smaller areas and many good brothels, the details of which can be found on most sites dedicated to our hobby eg worldsexguide.org.
