I noticed there was a 500 baht difference in obtaining the Cambodia visa. Is the amount posted somewhere in the immigration office? Or is it up to the Cambodian immigration officer to tell you? I am sure corruption is rampant in Cambodia but the amount should be an official amount, right?

The official amount is US$20 or THB 1000.
But they don't allow you to pay US$20, because THB 1000 is a better deal for them.
Yes, corruption is rampant in Cambodia.
I overheard a conversation yesterday between a visa tout and a foreigner:
Tout: 'Hello Sir, how are you today? Can I help you again'
Foreigner: 'No, you cheated me last month. Once is enough!'
That probably describes everything ....
BTW The visa fee is stamped on the visa (20 USD). But usually they stamp only half of it (USD) so the amount isn't visible.

Do the casinos have the same games as in Vegas? Actually, only interested in playing craps....do they have craps tables?
If you bring your TGF (has a passport), can you expect some problems getting across the border?
How much are the casino/hotel rooms? Any idea how much a taxi to the border would cost?

Since I have no interest in gambling (go on, call me a prude) I did not take much notice of the games that were being played but I did see a table where people were playing blackjack and another interesting one where giant dice were bounced around and people bet on the outcome.
Oh, and the ubiquitous poker machines were in proliferation, of course.
