El Frances is right about AN. When I first went there about 8 years ago, it was one of the best bars I had ever seen - friendly and funny bar tenders, billiards, tropical plants everywhere, outdoor courtyard, eclectic choice of music, good conversation, and pretty girls, of course.
When I returned last year, what a change! The walls and ceiling had all been painted mat black, the music was the relentless "thump- thump-thump" that you hear everywhere these days, the bar tenders aloof, and the girls were homely to be sure. The small amount of conversation I engaged in was conducted in hoarse shouts, due to the ear-spllitting level of the ponderous music.
A crying What shame.

Muffins are breadlike things that the septics think the english eat cos they call em English Muffins, I cant ever remember seeing em in the UK and I lived there.
There was a famouse wooden mule called Muffin that clumped about on the childrens television hour program.
For the other muffin you have to be a bit of a diver and dont mind hairs between you'r teeth!!!! I'm pretty good at it, well so the birds with the sloppy muffs tell me, I do like the sloppy long eared one the best, those will that hard fingy thing get lots of extra slurping.

That muffin subject seems to raise so much interest.....
Why don't you guys open a new thread on muffins ?
Anyway, coming back to Apocalypse Now: when you take a girl there, you also subsidise the local mafia. All the regular girls have to pay the mafia to be allowed to work there. Does it also explain for the relatively low quality of the girls ?

back to saigon. no appointment with one of my favorite girls, so back to apocalypse. it's monday night and off peak season, so it's not too busy and music is quite good.
but always the same type of girls....it's really hopeless...of course I begin to drink a little too much....11.30pm, it will be closing time in 30 mn. "you are very handsome" she says. of course, she will not say I am ugly! so back to hotel with her. wow ! she has breast like those girls in advertising for creams that are supposed to make women's breast firm. I have never seen such breast in asia. she is not very beautifull but so sexy. and the way she makes love while rubbing her breast...
so, there is still life after apocalypse.....
