I have been to the DR 10 times in the past 2 years and Thialand 5 times. I always go to Boca Chica which is 15 minutes from the airport (Las Americas). Bangkok is 24 hours away from Boston, Boca Chica is 4 hours. You do the math. The girls in Bangkok are the most beautiful in the world (mho). But in a pinch Boca is a great time. Thailand is #1 for P4P in my book, but I'll take an overpriced Czech girl anytime over an overpriced Dutch or American.
Prague is more expensive then BKK, but I have had some great GFEs with very pretty big boobed girls there. It's always nice to switch flavers.

I've been back for a few days now and I've thought more about this trip. What would I have written if I had never been to Thailand? I probably would have thought better of the p4p scene.
Also, this was my first "p4p trip" meaning that I went somewhere specifically for that purpose. I felt that I needed to get in as much as I possibly could. Quite different than when I come to BKK for business, and have the girls as a "pleasant fringe benefit". It made me think about whether I would come to BKK if I did not have work there!?!
Someday soon, that will be the case. 
I cannot understate the quality of the diving, snorkeling and weather (when I was there) in and around Sosua. And I spent an evening in Cabarete, which is a much nicer town.
The trip was not wasted whatsoever, and I am glad I went.
