For the bars you mentioned it is usually VND50,000 a lady drink and the bar fine is 5 lady drinks. So if you have bought the girl a couple of lady drinks while talking to her and like her, then it will only cost you another 3 lady drinks to take her out.
Her fee of VND1,000,000 can easily be bargained down to VND500,000.
Best to go to the mini hotel of her choice if you can't go to your hotel for safety reasons.

I never really got around to trying out the massage's and sounds like they weren't the greatest from your post.

Just back from another few days in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City and again made use of info from Bimmher, and Baquawn.
In a previous post Baquawn mentioned a hotel called Ngoc Ha, so I booked in their for four nights. The room was US$25 a night and was roomy, clean and with room safe. The address, phone number, email address for the hotel are all in Baquawn's post. They were no problems bring visitors back. Reception took the girls' ID cards. One of the receptionists walked with the use of crutches but what a smile and what a personality.
The room included breakfast but I never seemed to be up at that time. The hotel next door is the Xuan Loc; in fact the whole street on that side is hotel after hotel. Literally around the corner is the Ben Thanh market and 100 metres away is the New World Hotel.
Less than 10 minutes away (on foot) is the backpacker area and that's where I tended to hang out at night. If you look for Allez Boo bar on the corner, then there plenty of places to eat and drink in the side street. Eden Club was packed every night and further up on the right hand side was Go Go 2. Continue on and there was a pleasant bar called Cloudburst. Ladies drinks there were VHD40,000. ST was US$30 (negotiable) and overnight was US$50 which was also negotiatable.
A nice massage place with plenty of lovely young ladies to choose from was the Phuoc Loc Hotel in District 5, but much closer to home in District 1 was Polo Massage next door to Liberty 2 Hotel. For that ino I have to thank BTF member Mel Gibson. Cheers, mate, the place is a winner. From 9am to 5pm happy hour prices applied for one-hour massage and a 30 min foot massage (total cost VHD80,000. After 5, the cost went up to 100,000. You can use the sauna for as long as you want before the massage. And there's a little bar there where you can enjoy a cold one after having enjoyed a hot one. HJ prices are negotiable and the lovely No 5 (Thimh) was more than happy with VHD300,000.
One night I walked a fair way along Le Thanh Ton Street and came across the Ashoka Indian restaurant. Good tucker! Very pleasant waitress asked me how old I was and I asked her to guess. She said" You in mid-50s (correct)... same as my father".
It rained every day which put a bit of a dampener on things.
Hope I've added a bit more info for those wanting to head for Saigon at some stage.

Glad that I could help you out with some good tips.
The only P4P info I can offer is the after hours backpack bars where a lot of "Chicken Girls" hang out. That is what they call P4P girls in Nam. There is however a mixture of girls in that area, White girls, and girls who just got off work, working at bars and resturants.
I have been to one after hour bar in the area of Apocalypse Now, but could not remember how to tell you to get there. I would avoid Apocalypse at all cost. That place truely sucks, and has been mostly all dudes in there the past two years I went there and left.They also have a bit of overkill on security guys in that place. Three years ago that place use to be pretty packed with chicken girls.

All info is appreciated. The backpacker area is centred on Pham Ngu Lao Road and there a couple of well patronised along that main strip near Allez Boo, A little bit further along is Lili"s bar. But a lot of the action was in that side street I mentioned earlier with a bar called Lily's about two doors back from Cloudburst bar.
And I certainly take the point you made in a previous post about people of every shape, size and colour congregating there.

When it comes to the tropics, I've pretty much given up on checking weather forecasts ahead of time - whenever I look, I see thunderstorms and rain every day. Once you're actually there, it may rain little or not at all so I wouldn't worry about it.

When you in Hanoi. Go to the big street calls Tran Quang khai just behind the Opera House. I was there less than 1 minute, one girl with motobike aproach me.
and the asking price only 100,000 for full service. But she said I have to pay for the room that cost 50,000 dong for short time. $10 total. Not bad.
The next two nights, I went there again and found two different girls. This time the asking price is 200,000 Dong. I told her, I will paid 200K, but she pay for the room. she is more than happy to take me there. I know she will pay less tha 50k for the room. All 3 girls just OK looking. For what I paid, I think it is OK.

on a trip to hat yai from bangkok about one week ago, I was seated next to about 15 vietnamese girls. some were about 18-20yrs old, others about 25-27. almost all were cute, and several were down right gorgeous. they were obviously flying for their first trip...and seemed nervous but excited. each held their passports and immigration forms in their hands (newly issued).
