Bear with me, this is my first post but should be informative for most. The best opportunity is during periods of early curfew for the American Service members. At times the bars will be off limits totally. During these periods true civilians and ex-pats are "BOSS" in Songtan and Itaewon bar zones. The cost can run between $ 150-300 US depending on the night and club. Russian bars tend to ask and get more. Everyone should understand what a bar fine represents in Korea, while it gets the girl off work and out of the bar for the night, it does not mean you will be guaranteed a night of sinful pleasures easily. The girl’s primary goal is to avoid the sex issue and play you for any and everything they can get out of you (food, drinks, and phone cards for to call mama). They enjoy going to every other bar just to visit their girlfriends and want you to buy drinks for then and their GFs (at the rate of $10 per juicy drink). It's a game played with the GI every night. The GI bar fines the girl and they try to work you till curfew and then leave the GI hanging. It is a brutal cycle of events played out in higher numbers on the 1st and 15th of each month (GI paydays).
With this said, there are a couple of places worth mention. In Songtan for the BJ/HJ faithful there's a place called "Smithy's". It's the place where the juicy girls go to retire or so the joke goes. There are no beauties in this place, and has to be the dirtiest place around. In Seoul a club called "Starbutts" is interesting. Small club with a couple booths and a bar. Was there with a group and the owner has a habit of locking the door and not letting anyone in if the group is lively which can be interesting. There's a room like an attic the girls use for ST. The door opens, stairs fold down and while it's occupied no one would ever be able to tell what's going on.
In downtown Seoul (near the Lotte) there are the clubs called “Gentleman” clubs. The cost to enter is around $500 and that just opens the door and gets you upstairs. The cost for everything else goes up from there. Not unusual for locals to drop and few thousand in one night.
Best recommendation is to save your money and patience, extend your trip in Asia and include LOS on the agenda. There’s nothing like Thailand and the Korea bar game will only increase your frustration.

Ok, this was like 10 years ago when the ship I was on at the time made a portcall there. But Pusan was a pretty happening spot. Namely Texas Street and Green St. I didn't make it to Green St but some of my buds did and had a blast at a couple of "spots" there. From what I recalled they paid about $40-$60 for ST. On Texas St. there were a slew of bars that had a decent number of girls on hand for lapdancing, HJs and the normal "buy me drink" thing. But you were always able to negotiate some fun time with a girl for normally about $50. Sometimes more sometimes less. The cheapest I got a girl there for ST was like $30 in which she came back with me to a guest house I was crashing out at during our port visit.
BTW, beware of the oscars. It's a good drink but it'll sneak up on your ass. Good drink though!

what can I say, from a guy that has lived here for 6 years and even ran his own sex tour guide business, this place is WHACK!
the girls here love money too much! they hate to work for it too! that being said, there are the few that provide amazing service and an all round good time, finding them is a task of its on, rare but not impossible!

Have to agree with Mystery man the sex scene here si of a low, expensive quality. The red light districts are a waste of money..15-20 mins for 60,000 won.
Got to Itaewon regualr bars, its easy to pick up...off duty pros and non pro's.

Korea is as open as it comes and no different to most other countries. The sex industry for the Korean is a must, just overpriced to non-koreans.
Expat hotel guests rarely have problems with taking ladies back to their rooms and expat residents can do what they like. Koreans are however, very noisy when it comes to our activities.
Miara texas - would never touch it. Go there and the chances are when your about to jump on the underage girl, someone will phone the police and way you go. There will always be a korean watching you. The place is also heavily policed.
