I used to go to Amsterdam a great deal in the 70s and 80s. To be honest, I didn't find so many 'drop dead gorgeous' women then either. Unless you find only Western Europeans attractive, the looks of your women from "Africa and Eastern Europe" seem to my eyes (on recent trips) a bit prettier than the Dutch or German types that used to hang out in the windows. There may be other problems with the sex trade in that city, but I am not convinced by your description.

Ik think I f***ed lots of doable blond and brunette women in amsterdam in the 80s but my memory is a bit purple hazy from all the hash browns id enjoyed.

Ahhh... I remember the time when the exchange rate was about 3 to 1 and full service could be had for around 50gd, those were great times of debauchery! There was a mixture of other cultures at that time, but the majority were the Dutch, German or French, lots of blonde hairs and blue eyes.
What the girl would do and how long it would last depended on her looks (for the most part) and what street her window was on. There was one time when me and a buddy were able to double team a sexy spanish girl, from one of the side streets, for just 60gd. She asked for 100gd total when we did a DP on her. jroirqbkk your misinformed the leaf shops are too many concentrated in one area so some 20 % or so will go not ALL. Almost every other shop is a bar or coffeehouse. Also the ladies are still there more than 500 + windows only 100+- were closed no more planned and if needed those closed will open again.
The idea is to get it under control not close.
Agree about the 80s prices though I remember very well 50 guldens many spanish and dutch girls.
Now only the south american ladies do it for those prices.

Since I have been here which is over a year now I know the drill  Clothes are off before the door closes behind me and money handed over. Indeed knowing where to go helps a long way as you could pay 50 for 15 mins walk 5 mins round the corner and its 30 til you pop.
I used to shag a lovely Malaysian girl on the barndesteeg and had many a night for free used to call in late and crash in her room. I refound the singel area 2 yrs ago after coming back from los and your right about the old church but sometimes a skinny south american can be found,so I pass through now and then if nothing is there I wander over to the singel.

If you get out at the sloterdijk and walk back many clubs in that area, Bos en Lommerweg, Willem de Zwijgerlaan.
Over in the overtoom area Haarlemmermeerstraat 42,
Prive 42, Overtoom 443, Amsterdam Prive spring to mind.
For down and dirty im hearing salon bali is worth a visit and overtoom 443 is a cool place but costs more. Theres a place close to the heineken brewery on the Stadhouderskade as well your right.
Otherwise for windows you got it Albert Cupyt and singel are the best windows in amsterdam.
Outside try haarlem, utrecht intown and out by the canaals and den haag.
A city aint worth shit if it cannot provide good hookers.
Also uk shaga s experience is right especialy with south american ladies but thats all im saying.

Yeah I forgot there is a Mexican girl in the first window just along from the thai bar and the chicken place, very nice slim with big tits and doesn't look at her watch or tell you to hurry lol and your right its the first port of call in any city I go to, Dusseldorf has an interesting rld Berlin, but Prague is also a fave of mine.
