Update on F's house. The two ladies who were planning on joining the team have decided to go their own way and so F was left with no other choice but to get someone from one of the other bosses. Not seen the new recruit yet. Will update if and when I do go over to sample the new one.
I got a call from another CIS madame yesterday. Seems she has a lovely brunette at her place and wanted me to come over and check her out. Will probably go over in a day or two and do that.
According to the madame this one is really very pretty and speaks good english, is a good conversationalist. Could be just hard sell. So wont comment on it until I check her out for myself. 11Bravo has noted several times in these pages how you become known by your actions and how easily you can become labeled as a non player. Monday night was a typical case in point. My imminent departure to a less convivial country was delayed for a couple of days so I decided to take advantage of the delay. I decided to give the Imperial Suites a try.
Before I could even order a drink I was jumped by two Chinese, both were OK and one was a possible bookmark for later, but I wanted to have a look around first. So after a short conversation I politely excused myself with a "maybe later" and retired to the other side of the bar.
Pickings were quite slim (around 9:30 on a Monday). I then spot a Chinese girl talking to the original two. I recognised here from 3 or 4 weeks ago when she had given me some very sexy hard sell in the small bar at the other end of the Suites. This is a very "dirty" looking girl (I mean that in the nicest possible way) and I only declined then as I had other plans that night.
She came across the room in my direction and seem to look right through me - So I figured she had reconised me for the last time. I watched her for a while, smiled at her, and she eventually did come over. We do the deal - we have to go to a "house" for short time, which is going to add 50 DHS, not ideal, but I dont want to let this one walk a second time.
It was a good session, short on "menu items" but that mattered not as what was on offer was delivered in the most enthusistic manner. Certainly no starfish here! For once the moans and vocal utterances were either real or faked well enough for it not to be an anoyance. Good GFE and with more spontanaity that the Chinese norm.

DUBAI — A future in jail or of heavy debt lies ahead for the more than 100 young women awaiting deportation back to their home countries in the Immigration Detention Cell here.
A common thread of promise of a lucrative job in UAE and treachery of the recruiting agents, followed by disappointment and misery, runs through their tales — their misfortune compounded by the apparent disinterest of their home countries’ consulates in bailing them out.
A woman from Uzbekistan, who arrived in the country in May last year on a visit visa, told Khaleej Times that she was promised a good job, high salary and assistance in learning English when she got her visa. So she came with high expectations and a telephone number of a lady who was supposed to meet her at the airport.
“When I arrived, this lady met me and took away my passport. Then she took me to an apartment where she explained the nature of the job I was expected to do: prostitution,” said the woman who spoke on condition of anonymity, adding that she refused and ran away leaving the passport with that woman.
Left alone, with no identification documents and nowhere to go, she had to work on temporary jobs in cafeterias, sheesha joints and billiards clubs. “I wanted to go back to my home country but had no passport. So I called the woman, who kept it, and she asked me for $5,000.”
This is the common story one hears from women detainees at the cell — a place where more than 100 women not only share a detention ward but also the disappointment and fear of a bleak future after being deported to their home countries.
Arma, who was brought here 10 months ago by a woman identified as Nona, also from Uzbekistan, had a similar story. “She took my passport and forced me to work in prostitution. I ran away from her to land in jail here on charges of staying illegally,” a tearful Arma said, adding that in her country those who return deported also go to jail.
Similar stories were heard from others in the same cell, who swore to sue the brokers when they returned.
A Moroccan detainee passed through a similar experience, but unlike others, she had been duped by her own cousin.
“My cousin, who is married legally to a Moroccan man and had a civil marriage contract at the same time with an Egyptian man, sent me the visit visa after I paid her 10,000 Moroccan dirhams,” said the woman, who insisted on not being named or photographed.
She said that she had sold her father's land and mortgaged her house to come to Dubai, where she, being illiterate, thought that she will be able to find a decent job to support her little brothers and sisters.
“At the airport, I found my cousin with the Egyptian man. She took my passport and handed it to the man. I went with them to an apartment where they locked me in for two months during which they would bring all sorts of men to me and force me to entertain them.”
The Moroccan said that she had no option but to fall into the prostitution ring she found herself in. “I do not read or write, do not know the country and was imprisoned in the apartment.”
At the first opportunity during Ramadan, “when the Egyptian fears God and stops bringing men”, she ran away and approached a police station with her entire story. “The police summoned the Egyptian and the sponsor, who had reported me absconding and handed my passport over to him. He said he will give me an employment visa on his brother’s company and took Dh2,000 to inform me later that the visa was rejected because I am suffering from a contagious disease,” she said, adding that she got herself checked four times to refuse such claims and all the while she was working illegally at different places.
She said she landed in jail as she did not have any papers on her when the police raided the apartment she was sharing with some other women.
“I do not know how telling my story will help me. It probably will not, but might make others aware and alert them to be more careful.”
While a number of detainees were simply arrested for overstaying their visa period in violation of the Entry and Residency Rules, others were apprehended by the CID in different emirates on charges of prostitution. They included very young girls aged 16 and 17 years.
Baydaa, an Iraqi, was in tears while telling us her story. “I came on a visit visa, issued by a UAE national. I was in a taxi at 12:30am when the police stopped the taxi and asked me for my papers. I showed them my visa which expired only a month ago, but they took me to the police station and accused me of engaging in immoral activities, and here I have been in this jail for six days now.”
Baydaa pleaded not guilty and asked the police to send her for medical examination to prove the accusations false, she claimed, expressing her distress that she will be deported back to Iraq. “What will I do there. My entire family died during the war and I have no one left. Can’t they just allow me to renew my visa?”
Ascano from Ukraine had a different story. She had come on a visit visa, which was still valid at the time of her arrest. “I was coming back in a taxi late at night from a DSF venue and they stopped me and asked for my papers. Then they took me to the police station and said I was a prostitute. On what basis they made this accusation, I have no idea,” she said, asking, “Does every woman who speak Russian have to be engaged in immoral acts?”
Ascano had come to Dubai several times before. She said that she buys goods from here and ships them to her home country. “Do we pay for the visa fees to land in jail? If so, why do the authorities issue us visas in the first place?”
Many women claimed that they were arrested while in the parking lots of their buildings or while talking to friends.
A number of women had been confined to their detention cell for months since they had no passports or identification and they are waiting for their respective diplomatic missions to issue them outpasses. Some got their outpasses but had no tickets and no money to buy one.
“The consulates of these detainees are not cooperating with us. We had in detention 40 women who are without IDs, some of them were apprehended as long back as in November,” said Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Bakheet, Assistant Director of the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) for Investigation and Follow-Up Affairs.
“We have approached the consulates of these ladies, who are mainly from Uzbekistan, Russia and other East European countries. All of them were arrested either by the CID on charges of immoral activities or for violating the entry and residency rules,” he said, noting that they are detained at Al Quoz Detention Centre until they get their outpasses and are administratively deported from the UAE.
“Unfortunately, many of them had been staying illegally for years. They were brought in on either tourist or visit visas, some of them issued by big tourism companies,” Lt. Colonel Bakheeet said.
When approached, a number of the sponsoring companies refrained from giving answers about those women and their passports while others were found to have shut own, and the detainees did not even know where their passports were and with whom.
“Apparently there is an organised mafia that brings those girls, confiscates their passports and engages them in prostitution business,” Lt. Colonel Bakheeet said, observing that many of those women knew in advance the nature of the job they were coming for.
He observed that the DNRD is an executive body and is keen on sending those women back to their home countries as soon as possible if and when their respective consulates responded.
The DNRD, he said, also makes sure to fine and blacklist the tourism companies on whose visas the women came and overstayed.
Don't hand over passport to strangers: Brig. Merri
IT IS a big mistake on the part of the new comers to UAE to hand over their passports to people they do not know well, said Brigadier Dr Jamal Al Merri, Dubai Police Deputy Chief.
“The passports should only be given to either the sponsor or to the diplomatic missions of the visitors’ country,” Dr Al Merri told Khaleej Times yesterday, observing that the Dubai Police had alerted the consulates to caution their citizens against giving their passports to anybody other than the authorised persons.
“In most of the cases, the women had no clue about the people who retained their passports.”
Dr Al Merri said that women arrested on charges of immoral activities get administratively deported to their home countries without appearing before the courts.
“This is basically in their favour, since it saves them the lengthy procedures of court hearings and ensures that they leave the country under simplified procedures,” the Dubai Police Deputy Chief said.
However, he stressed that if any of those women feel that they were unjustifiably accused of practising illegal and immoral activities, they can challenge such charges and object to the procedures of arrest and “if proved that they are right we will apologise and welcome them in the country,” he said, stressing that no woman is arrested without basis or because she belongs to a specific nationality.
“The arrest procedures are official and documented. We make sure that the arrest is made by more than one police officer to avoid building any cases on individual action,” he explained, noting that several measures are usually taken to support and investigate the case and verify the circumstances of the arrest in accordance with the law.

It was a good job Mecrazy and thank you for your effort.
To me it seems the crackdown is similar to the ones that happen from time to time and there is no evidence of any major change in procedures. It is unfortunate for those unlucky ones who are waiting deportation.
Despite the fact that Dubai is one of the safest cities, tolerant and respective to its visitors I know, I agree with some contributors who noted in the past that a smart person will understand the nature of the society here. We cannot, by reading the above article, know all the circumstances under which those girls were caught. However, we can understand how people view or may react when they see a foreign looking woman, at late hours of the night, travelling alone or walking across the car park etc... not only in this part of the world.

Big concern as in the past I doubt whether they used to pick up women just talking to friends or while in parking lots of their buildings. For those of us who remember Bur Dubai - Ramada and of course Spinneys at night these days hardly any SW's seen!
And of course there is the recent Spot Check on York that the cops did the other day ?????
